Just a reminder that the sellers will be there again (in the pouring rain), but it is cash sales only.
I contacted Tom G and he advised the FC media team were aware of the need to publish the results, so hopefully people who don't manage to hear the draw at half time will be able to find out the results.

As regards to the match day program, very poor this season going by the standards we have had over the years .13 pages of averts and not even a fixtures & results page vs orient

Was told the club have appointed a replacement programme editor so the next issue should be much improved.

Can't believe the programme featured a two page advert regarding arranging a funeral at the Mem.
No disrespect to anyone who has lost someone recently, but it comes to something when we dont advertise Christmas Parties, social events (YP Halloween party?), even early Xmas gifts.
I know it happens to us all, but it just doesn't give any positivity, does it?
I am sure that many will see it as a cryptic message for what JB and others are doing to the club.
At least the 50/50 results were shown on the big screen. - as an aside does that have solar panels behind it? ( Not that there was much sunshine yesterday).

Both the SC and FC websites published the 50/50 results, so a step in the right direction.
Hopefully the FC have arranged for more programmes to be printed as they sold out in most parts of the ground by 2.30
Also as a reminder, it is still cash only at present.
Many thanks for the nice words at seeing the volunteers back.
It wasn't so nice with the weather last week, but hopefully the results can be seen on the pitch in a few years time, if the youngsters performance v FGR is anything to go by.

Many thanks to the fans who waived their 50p change yesterday, as I had run out of small change.
ie, they effectively bought the programme for £3 instead of £2.50.
Despite having quite a large float of 50pence coins, it is noticible post covid that people are paying with notes, not change. It would be very helpful if you could bring 50p in small change, if possible.
I will pass on the feedback to TG that we need even more small change in the float.
Thanks.

It seems the programme is going to be increased following complaints regarding the quality and quantity of the programme so far this season.
A new programme editor has been brought in.
The new increased (and hopefully improved) programme does mean an increase in price, so I believe league game editions will be £3.
Please remember the SC volunteers salespoints are cash only.
The 50/50 remains at the inflation busting £1 per ticket (the same price as about 20 years ago!)
Many thanks for buying.

Can someone please help with the winning 50/50 numbers today (v Northampton Town) as didn't hear the half time draw? Yeah since the FC took over it has gone downhill. The transparency is poor. I think the results only appeared on line once this season after someone sent Tom a message. We don't know the winning numbers, the prize money, who sold the tickets and at what location. Luckily I was not in a queue when the no's were announced but for some reason there were only two prizes. Sorry can't remember the no's, just know they were not mine! Best someone messages Tom to sort it out. To be fair they were on the big screen for 5 mins but if you are in the toilets, bar or pasty queue, you don't get the chance to find out. Hopefully the new relationship with the SC will see them taking over again. It seems pointless (other than pure petty mindedness by the FC) to pay an employee to do the organisation/administration/ banking etc, when the SC did it much better for free!

Announced just before the 2nd half started that both prizes were claimed.

The Northampton programme at £3 was still poor quality a banal q and a with Luke Thomas and two page coverage of hergametoo
Design is poor big headlines poor tiny images and text is so small hard to read.
No fixtures or results grid and still shows a announcement in there for a programme fair which took place on 24 Oct.
Lack of attention to detail it lacks current stuff about youth set up. No mention of return of Byron Anthony. Coverage of visitors is poor compared with programmes when Keith Brookman was editor.
Needs major input from other contributors. Too many adverts.

I had the exact same thoughts and emailed the new programme Editor. He replied changes were being looked at, including the re- introduction of the stats page. I get the impression he is part time but he seems confident the programme will improve. Obviously with three games in a week he will not be able to have much short term impact, but hopefully the December programmes will be much better.
