Fair play to you - and thank you for explaining your reasons without resorting to vitriol. It's good that you're still following via other means, and I'm pretty sure that you'll be back at The Mem in person before Christmas. UTG Really Tilly ? 💙 I can't see leaving whilst we're pulling off at least the odd win and it's pretty clear he still has the backing of his players. Although what's boycotting games but still following the results actually achieving, life's too short to avoid games over just one individual at the club.

I threw in my season ticket last season when Barton was recruited As I considered him a bad influence on our young supporters.I have not been anywhere near the Men since then for those reasons and I have to admit I miss my team and club that I have supported for 70 years. I have vowed not to attend until the Barton era is over and it hurts. But that is the way it is. I follow the team on the radio, tv and on the Gas Chat and I will never ever follow any other club. Great result today, as a caller on Radio Bristol said, "You can only beat what s in front of you. This club will bounce back and I can't wait to take my place in the crowd, but only after Barton is gone. UTG. I am from the same era and am of the same opinion. Not been and won’t be going until my club stops being an embarrassment. Fair play to those that go, and genuinely hope we survive this season. This has been the worst times of supporting the Gas, can’t wait to get back onto the terraces, but, until then Welton are going really well, might pop down to West Clewes !! Could do a lot worse. West Clewes is a lovely spot to watch football and Welton are a friendly club. Be nice to have a few exiled Gas down to watch Roman Glass St George. Not a classic ground by any means but we have a nice new clubhouse and could certainly use the support.

Havnt commented on the boycotting debate but no one will ever make me boycott the gas no matter who’s in charge. You are right life is too short. The more gas games I can get to live before I die the better. Solid performance today. Must stick with the back 4 as most have been saying for weeks. Utg.

This league looks to be developing into a very close league. Sutton were bottom, now 3 weeks later they’re in the play offs. Any team able to string 3/4 results together and get 10/11 points will jump up this league. No reason why it shouldn’t be us if Nicholson, Thomas, Saunders (for his energy, can be as vital as they were today. Well done to Belshaw, Evans as well. I know Carlisle weren’t the best but we looked better, more secure with a back 4 and it gave balance to the team. Mansfield, Salford, Bradford C were all fancied yet two of them are below us now and none have set this division alight. This league will give us lots of surprises before the season is out. And despite everything and there’s a long way to go but I’d rather be in our position than Oldham, Scunthorpe and even Carlisle from what they looked like today.
UTG!

Look so much better at the back with a flat back four and Whelan playing in front of them. Apart from 10 minutes at the beginning of the second half I thought Carlisle were poor. We were not much better and the only real bit of decent football in the first 80 minutes came from Evans and his goal (and perhaps the Belshaw save). When Thomas and Nicholson came on they showed their class at this level, if they can keep fit we still have a chance of a decent season, although a prominent quality number nine is still needed really.

Absolutely brilliant. Well done Rovers. My heart was racing when I woke up and saw a ten page Match day thread. 2 wins from 3 is the form of Champions. 3 wins from 6 (1.5 PPG) pushing for a play off spot. Now we dance.

Win 3-0 today looking for the haters to moan about something How about moaning about how we are reduced to w**king ourselves stupid and giving it the big one over a home win against one of the worst teams in the country while being in the bottom half of League 2? Can I want a small un? JB is still a lady garden. However, I did think we played well today.

Anyone know what the attendance was today? Any sign of the supposed boycott?

Listened to Barton's aftermatch interview. All the arogance seems to have gone from him. Ben Garner was hounded out by pepole on here -time to get behind Barton and push on. Those who criticise Wael need to put the money up or shut up.

Oh you’re actually serious? Happy with 3 points. Still firmly Joey out So people who are happy with what JB is trying to achieve are questioned? - Are you serious Happy with what he is trying to achieve? What is that exactly??? He’s achieved very little except take us from League 1 and make us look like relegation candidates from League 2. Laughable really.

He’s achieved very little except take us from League 1 and make us look like relegation candidates from League 2. Laughable really. He's trying to rebuild the playing side of the club, all the tobacco chewing youngsters have gone and we seem to have replaced them with decent pros, if the results improve then we'll be in a far better position than we were last season, on the playing front anyway. What would you prefer to watch, players with no real interest even in their own football careers like Barrett?
