So it continues.
We tried very hard today to foul and get booked but could not keep up with The Cumbrians.
The referee worked hard to even up the yellow cards but we failed to match Carlisle United.
These stats are the NUMBER OF FOULS committed by the opposition in league matches to date this season.
Barrow : 134
Swindon Town : 135
Mansfield : 140
Tranmere : 151
THE GAS : 170 - this is the highest number of opposition fouls in the entire league.
(This total does not include the horrendous scissors challenge of Sam Finley by Ben Gladwin of Swindon Town. It was terrible but the referee had a blind moment.)

Anyone know what the attendance was today? Any sign of the supposed boycott? For all I care they can stay away as hardly any moaning from the North Terrace faithful today except the odd get the ball forward when we were playing out from the back and trying to pull Carlisle out so we could get behind them with the pace we had in the team. Did make me laugh when we did lump it forward quickly to no-one and to hear the same person shout that's s@@t keep hold of it. Great result today and a comfortable 3 points against poor opposition. Players returning from injury with even more available next week we can hopefully push on and do a Bolton from last season. L

Watched on iFollow thanks to lastminutewinner, even though I bought a season ticket that I'll hardly use (being lent out) As most have commented, Carlisle didn't offer much, nor did we for 1/2 hr, & Belshaw trying to play out from the back caused panic in the defence which seemed to translate to the terracing !!! Anthony Evans looks a good player & along with the likes of Nicholson, Thomas, Collins, Saunders, Spence the creativity seems to be there, just need a fit targetman to play off !!! If, & it's a big if, we keep the same starting formation , then we should be OK, & who knows.....................

Same here. Local football until this person leaves. So what if he gets us to the play offs or a chance of promotion, are you still going to stick to your principles, what good it that really going to achieve? I guarantee if we got to Wembley the majority of them will be there even if they wont admit to it.

Re; back at the mem b4 Xmas ? I think that the outcome of one of the Court cases will force Wael's hand. Yes , I thought that was behind yr thinking - I’m not so sure he will be found guilty of either , but who knows , anything could happen ! He is looking and sounding very drained , certainly taking its toll on him 😩. Anyway good to get those thee vital points today ! Utg 💙

Apparently even the CPS have no idea of the success rate of "victimless prosecutions" they've brought even in the general public, so there's no way of forecasting which way that will go against an high profile defendant/defence team. Although even if JB's convicted you can almost guarantee that he'll seek to appeal as a conviction(s) could well end his managerial career.

I thought it was a bang average L2 match and struggled to see what shape we were playing. We got the first goal against the run of play and then took advantage as they pushed for an equaliser. 3 points is 3 points and I was happy with the win. It was good to be at the Mem and catching up with people I hadn’t seen for a long time. In Barton’s pre match interview he spoke about sticking together so I find it odd that people come on here after a win making cheap shots at fans who have decided not to attend for whatever reason. There some right lady garden comments on here tonight. Have a word with yourself if you have made such comments as you are adding to the friction rather than helping bring fans together. UTG

Wasn't able to really watch/follow today, listened on radio up until a couple of minutes after we took the lead. It sounded dire up until that point tbh and the commentary really doesn't help, you have absolutely no clue whats going on in the game - just nothing chatter and then 'oh what a chance for carlisle, Belshaw saved the gas there'. Honestly awful.
Delighted to see the scoreline though and of course Thomas & Nicholson in fine form.
I thought Walsall might have been a corner turned, but then Swindon happened - but it looks like we're a midtable team here. We seem to beat the worser teams and get hammered by the better ones.

Watching football isn't cheap these days, and it's down to individual choice as to whether or not they attend, whatever the reason.

Happy with what he is trying to achieve? What is that exactly??? He’s achieved very little except take us from League 1 and make us look like relegation candidates from League 2. Laughable really. He's trying to rebuild the playing side of the club, all the tobacco chewing youngsters have gone and we seem to have replaced them with decent pros, if the results improve then we'll be in a far better position than we were last season, on the playing front anyway. What would you prefer to watch, players with no real interest even in their own football careers like Barrett? This is laughable 😂😂😂

3 goals and a clean sheet is not something we’ve seen to often in recent times. Well done Rovers. There is a long way to go but today shows this squad is capable, albeit against a poor side.
