Sorry, not very good with this technology stuff but I went on the website today and they have a summary of the meeting on their front page. I have copied it below.
Supporters Club AGM update by David Thomas | Oct 29, 2021 | News
Bristol Rovers Supporters Club held a successful AGM on Thursday evening at Lockleaze Sports Centre and would like to thank all their members who braved the rain on a foul night to attend. The meeting ratified the new appointments to the Executive Committee, the make-up of which is shown below. David Thomas- Chair Helen Wigmore – Vice Chair & Share Sheme Rep Sue Williams – Treasurer Keith Brookman – Secretary Janet Wooster – Social Sam Parsons – Membership Secretary, Website Manager & Safeguarding Officer Leanne Hawkins – Away Travel Jamie Howarth becomes our match-Day organiser and joins the Committee along with Patricia Gardener. We welcome them both to the Committee and look forward to working with them. Our Chair David Thomas explained to the meeting that he was still talking to the Football Club about our representation on the board and the hope is that we may be allowed the two directorships that the Share Scheme Agreement allows for. Helen Wigmore and Stephen Lamble have both been proposed, seconded and accepted by the Football Club as our two candidates for these extremely important positions. Should we only be allowed one directorship an (expensive) postal ballot will be held in accordance with our rules. David also re-iterated that the Supporters Club is not a closed shop and we will always welcome help and ideas from anyone, especially with regard to appealing to our younger supporters. Coach travel to away games, the 50/50 draw, the Supporters Club’s relationship with the Football Club, and a £50,000 investment into the Football Club all came up as questions in a question and answer session before the meeting closed.
I hope that helps.
UTG!

Be nice to have details of all these goings on via a free to send email.
Still not received anything from the supporters club, despite paying my dues, in about 6 years. Despite going in the supporters bar behind the Thatchers where they don’t even bother asking for the cards anyway

I am Steve Lamble, and thanks.
As posted in the AGM Notes, see above, BRSC has a legal undertaking from BRFC to accept 2 Supporters Reps on the Board. There were only two nominees from BRSC and hence the fact that there was no need for a ballot with the Supporters Club. However, having submitted both of those names, BRFC now feel that it is only appropriate to allow one Rep from BRSC onto the Board. I do not know the outcome of those discussions as yet.
However, one thing that I would stress is the importance of joining the Supporters Club if you want to have your views heard properly. In recent weeks, the Supporters Club has made massive strides in repairing the relationship with the Football Club and the fact that we will have at least one Rep on the Board represents progress over the last 2/3 years.
It is very easy to use the anonymity of the forums to post your points of view about the running of the Club. You will very shortly have the opportunity to put those views formally. Please join the Supporters Club and take advantage of that opportunity.
The Supporters Club has openly asked for an influx of ideas from the younger members - please do not ignore this appeal. Bristol Rovers and the Supporters Club can only prosper with your help.

Hi Steve, thanks for the detailed reply. I am disturbed by the above though. There is a legal agreement for two representatives to sit on the board of Bristol Rovers 1883 ltd so is the Supporters Club in agreement for the hard earned agreement with the club to be ignored? If not, will the SC be taking action to achieve what its members paid for? I'm not happy that my £1,236 has been paid over and what we paid for is not being honoured.

When I copied the post and remembered your posts from back along I wondered if your username was a play on the name. Congratulations on your nomination at least! One of the things I’m surprised at is the continuing lack of communication from the SC. I only heard about the AGM from coming on here and reading this thread. I appreciate that I could go on their website to find out the information but I know they have my email address and I would have thought that they would be sending out information via email regarding events such as the AGM. A relatively simple thing to do I’d have thought. Anyway, good luck with what you’ve signed up for. UTG!

I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong but didn't the SC previously accept the suggestion that they only needed one FD on the board, hence why BSS stood down, or at least didn't stand for re-election, thereby leaving KM to continue as the sole FD? If so, why didn't the SC just put forward one FD to replace KM instead of creating another impasse?

Regardless of all of that, that doesn't override the Share Scheme Agreement which is a legal contract unless it has been superseded without the members knowledge. If the SC are in agreement that only one Director is necessary then they might as well tear up the agreement to which both parties are bound by law.

Welcome Steve and congrats/commiserations on your role.
I forget his name but now you will get a bit of an understanding of the former share scheme directors life ( the one from Somerset 10/15 years ago). Bombarded with questions ( some they know you cannot answer) and then complaints with delays in responding, while they themselves do nothing to help the club (SC or FC).
It is a thankless task but best of luck! Despite the critics there is help out there.

So members who pay an annual subscription can have a benefit of their own bar room to watch match on TV less busy able to get a drink quicker and speak to sc reps with queries to take to the board. Otherwise what does their subscription benefit them?

I could never understand why there was a separate bar when we all Gashead's, what's wrong with drinking in the same bar area? I believe members received subsidised drinks in the SC bar every now and again, the SC bar had the big screen to watch the screen soccer highlights and also were allowed to be part of the MotM awards every home game (members won the chance to present it?) before Trolls stopped it following players becoming victims to verbal abuse from fans rigging the MotM voting. TG swapped the public bar and SC bars around after the refit. ( and for some reason got rid of the skittle alley which was used to be used quite often).
