So how do we think we'll do in this?
Should be a good atmosphere with a healthy turnout of Celtic persons.
Results and form definitely on the up. Maybe things are turning a corner. I expected Newport to be doing better this season and maybe getting promoted under Flynn, but he's gone now and it all seems a bit meh there, according to my English Newport resident mole.

I expect a win at home. We were unlucky against Cheatchester, finished strongly against Bradford and beat Carlisle comprehensively. Things are coming together and if Finlay is back we have a really key player back in the centre which gives aging legs a break. Collins looking a little Nichols like presently in playing well in link up but missing chances, but he’s a Newport lad so hoping for this to change. UTG.

Noticed Upson was sent off on Wednesday so i guess he'll miss the match unfortunately as I think he was one of the worst Midfielders we've had in recent times

Newport have sold out their allocation and they have a new manager. Let's hope we pick up all the points though and make it 4 league games unbeaten

Little limited on defensive options, so would go with a nervous backline, but plenty of attacking options
Belshaw Kilgour Taylor Anderton Evans Whelan Thomas Pitman Anderson Nicholson Collins

Another win would be a massive boost for the boys and keep the run going. I have seen plenty of Severnside derbies over the years, this could be a classic. 3:2 ....Pitman with a Punisher.

Interesting. Do you think he would be mobile enough to be effective there? formation similar to Colchester game, he seemed to play behind/off collins, and it seemed to get him in the game a lot more. Thomas, Nicholson, Anderson and Collins can be quite fluid position wise and cause the defence all sorts of issues

That's interesting, I didn't watch it so it's good to hear that Pitman played well aside from his goal.

Might have to go 4-4-2 if Junior Brown is still injured? Belshaw Hoole Kilgour Taylor Anderton Nicholson Whelan Evans Anderson Pitman Collins

Interesting. Do you think he would be mobile enough to be effective there? Might be cuz he was tackling back for like the last 10-15 mins but he is one of the deepest attacking players on average
