Is there any evidence that Flynn is less articulate than Barton, let's be honest that would be very hard. Is there any evidence that Newport's resources are greater than ours? A fact by which to appraise performance? Finally, after all the time Barton has been employed by us, is there any evidence that he is a capable manager? You know the to answer to these questions. We need to get rid, now Flynn's a bit like Buckle, a manager who's only ever managed a small town club under the watchful eyes of an experienced DoF, we've no idea how he''d cope at Rovers. It's easy to say he couldn't do any worse than JB but we thought that about PT when he replaced BG and then JB replaced PT. Your opinion, but where is the evidence?

Flynn would take it I reckon. To stick with someone who is definitely rubbish is just Stockholm syndrome though isn’t it? Flynn is second favourite for the the Cardiff City job, if he really is in the running is he really going to take a job with a struggling L2 side? Even if he did would Gasheads take to his GC style of football, once the novelty of seeing us win games had worn off? You do understand betting odds mean very little? A £50 bet would move odds massively.

“Sacking him now is basically relegating us” Based on what? Based on the fact we won't attract any decent managers, who would take this job on the best we could hope for is someone like Sol Campbell, and will have a squad that came here to play for JB. Sound familiar? We will attract managers, it’s football, money talks and in comparison to the rest of League 2 I suspect we pay more than others. I’m not saying that as a particularly good thing just as a POV. I’ve no idea whether we will sack JB or not. But if we did then we may appoint a manager who may not be that well known, someone from National League or League 2 perhaps. After all, 5 out of our 6 promotions have been achieved with first time managers. And I hope the process would look closely at the person’s ability to organise a team to play attacking football with a good record of being able to manage players and may have some good contacts in the game. I can think of several National League managers who could possibly do very well here. UTG! Edit: we have no vacancy currently but if/when we do I would appoint from within. CH with some support.

Thing is we say that people won’t come in and do well, who would have seen JFH doing what he did at Burton? Who knows what a new man might do, what we can say is quite probable is that Joey isn’t taking us up n I think the JFH situation was totally different he knew the club and set up already and had a transfer window to work with. What if JB had that window and bought in a striker and a couple other players and we stayed up would people's opinion be different? Will JB take us up probably not this season but who knows I always look at Bolton and pray we could possibly do the same. Anyone we bring in now would also have a transfer window though? Even if I isolate it all down to just football reasons and nothing else then he’s been a disaster JB has now had a transfer window and we are still absolute rubbish. The results and the table do not lie.

Flynn would take it I reckon. To stick with someone who is definitely rubbish is just Stockholm syndrome though isn’t it? No I think we need to stick with the cards we have been dealt. Wael has decided to go down this path and now needs to see it through something he didn't do with Garner. Whether JB can turn this around or not i have no idea I wish I had a crystal ball but i would rather let him have more than 14 games to build a squad it takes longer than that. No I don't think Flynn would take it and not sure the in and outs of why he walked away from Newport who he never got promoted so to me is no better than what we got. But I can agree with you over Flynn. Not sure he would be a good choice. UTG!

Never want the club to lose but Yate v Yeovil has more appeal that following Rovers at the moment.
There are some good players at the club but Barton does not appear to be a good coach, is not good with tactics or formation, or at man management.
The only arguments for not getting rid of him is cost and the fear of another change.
In the meantime attendance willxecline meaning we are deeper in debt and we will lose potential new fans.
