Certainly not meant to be bolshie, it's what I actually believe, and I think it's a reasonable, albeit hypothetical, comparison to today's game. Considering as you took issue with Charlton Hayes' post not being a good enough comparison. But then, you are one of the most argumentative posters on here, so I'm not surprised you took issue with my post as well. I am NOT argumentative. How dare you say that :-) You actually took the Bolshie comment seriously? Oh! If that was meant in jest, I apologise š

Aren't we only getting that for league games? I'd be surprised if we get that many for pay on the gate game unless the š factor adds a 1,000+ to the gate.

I actually thought it was a decent crowd considering the time and day, lots of factors why people can't make the games, cost being probably the biggest. Our home support is very poor considering the size of the city, are away support excellent after years of disappointment. When we are getting ten thousand plus every game then we can laugh at oxford.

Thought this thread was going to be about Oxfords very odd decision to have only 3 sides with fans, anyone know the original reason and why they have not bothered to finish it since ?, could always sell them our tents when we redevelop! Donāt think weāre in a position to take the water out of the kassam.

I can't understand the logic in moving away from the Kassim when they hardly need a 20K+ capacity stadium although what's the betting, if they do, that they'll move to their second new ground whilst we're still only hearing rumours about a new stadium being built. It's a bit baffling how Oxford attract all these international "investors" as how are they ever going to get any ROI.

Nobody interested in owning lower league football clubs though. It struck me too that there are an awful lot of wannabe Championship clubs who are going to have a hard time permanently displacing the traditional (pre 1982) well supported teams.

You sense like NH sold Wael a dream somebody is doing the same to Oxford's latest "investors". (Cardiff and Swansea both have double the population of Oxford according to the most recent census)
