The 47,029 for the playoff final is still a record too. Don't we still hold the L2 play off final attendance record too at 61,500? Just think, in a few years we could hold all 4 simultaneously. 😃 Still a League Two record 👍

Cheap tickets? I'm not sure we know the meaning. At capitalism for you. Charge £5 a ticket get a full house of supporters. Charge £25 get 1/3 of a stadium filled. I know which I'd rather have the team in front of.. If it was more economical to charge less they would charge less. They aren’t stupid, they know how to maximise revenue. What you mean is you want a ticket for £5. That’s fine, and NC have their reasons (most likely to beat the record), but genuinely, clubs don’t set price points to fleece people. Nah, simple economics state high prices and low uptake is a recipe for ruin. Do the club want profit or fans in the seats? Because they haven't been getting either for quite some time now

Didn't us and Donny hold the JPT/Pizza trophy final record attendance for quite a while too?

Because they haven't been getting either for quite some time now The club want profit. The way this is determined is by setting a price level which maximises profitability on the marginal revenue curve. The additional numbers at lower prices don’t offset the higher prices/smaller crowd generate. theintactone.com/2018/06/03/me-u3-topic-3-revenue-curves/It’s a well established topic in micro economics and clubs will be well aware where to set their prices to maximise their marginal revenue. The other thing to bear in mind is more bums on seats means an increase in marginal costs, as more fans require more staff, more police etc. I’m just saying it isn’t as easy as “charge less, more fans = profit”
