Surely that’s cheating …. The £5 entrance? No surprise from that lot 🙄

Looks a good deal for families of the area. Free football on there indoor 4g pitch, will make a day of it, for the younger fans.

Solihull isn't exactly a local derby for Notts County. So if they get the record it's very impressive and a great initiative. Might make some lifelong fans.

11.085 against Alfreton Town our last home conference league match before the play offs against Forest Green. Must admit was unaware it was a 5th tier record.

Fair play to them if they get it, even with the cheap tickets that’s a great crowd for a non-league match.

I realize it isn’t their actual “derby” but one of the few local matches along with Chesterfield. They are helped by their stadium obviously. I wasn’t at our match but I assume Alfreton only had one section of seats.

I think Norman from Ilkeston did take up the one seat they wanted, and the local darts team from Beeston took up one step on the away terrace ….. 👀

The 47,029 for the playoff final is still a record too.

Not a record I realised we held but fair play to Notts County. Apart from that time they cheated us (think they were expected to give us the ball back following an injury and scored?), I have a lot of time for them and it’s a nice ground.

As much as I still dislike county for actions years ago,you have to admire their loyal supporters, imagine sharing your city with a team who have won the European cup twice, and been a decent premiership team,it makes sharing Bristol with the won nothing hillbillies seem nearly perfect. UTG

Cheap tickets? I'm not sure we know the meaning. At capitalism for you. Charge £5 a ticket get a full house of supporters. Charge £25 get 1/3 of a stadium filled. I know which I'd rather have the team in front of..

I know which I'd rather have the team in front of.. If it was more economical to charge less they would charge less. They aren’t stupid, they know how to maximise revenue. What you mean is you want a ticket for £5. That’s fine, and NC have their reasons (most likely to beat the record), but genuinely, clubs don’t set price points to fleece people.

The 47,029 for the playoff final is still a record too. Don't we still hold the L2 play off final attendance record too at 61,500? Just think, in a few years we could hold all 4 simultaneously. 😃
