Just mentioning it here as probably more views on this thread, but matchday programmes increasing to £3.
Also a reminder cash sales only with the SC volunteers.
Thanks

Thanks Hope the matchday programme content is going to increase in size and quality too? Bought the first couple of programmes this season but didn't bother after that as it has dramatically gone downhill and not worth bothering with anymore.

Quick trip in and out of Bristol today. Hoping the boys put in a shift today. Would be happy with a hard fought draw but hoping we can sneak it 2-1 (Taylor, Evans) and send me back up the M4 happy UTG

Could do with Ellis today. He scored 7 goals against Northampton for us and then popped one in against them after coming off the bench for Pompey last season in his only game against them since.
He’s averaging a goal every 65 mins against them over his career!
I miss Ellis. He definitely made the wrong move in football terms leaving us, though I guess he's probably done pretty well financially out of it and that’s obviously a big consideration at our level.

Bought the first couple of programmes this season but didn't bother after that as it has dramatically gone downhill and not worth bothering with anymore. A new programme editor has been brought in to improve things. I think previously the FC were thinking of reducing the programme due to the football wide feeling that programmes are not popular anymore. At the Gas we are an exception, as the uptake is well above average compared to other clubs and importantly to the FC, profitable! The FC said they have listened to fans feedback (and from various SC committee members/volunteers), so rather than continuing with a reduced programme organised by the media team, an increased publication with a dedicated editor is now to be produced. Proof is the pudding, but let see what the next couple are like while the Ed finds their feet.

Programmes were very poor this season. Not like the ones produced be Keith Brookman.
This is the 25th anniversary of being at the Mem and this has not been mentioned.
If anyone had pictures of when the Broom Army had to help out ( it really was a mess!), it probably would surprise people how much better the Mem looks now. Hard to believe I know.
Hopefully the new editor can do some articles on this.
Will buy one this week and next Sat just to see.
Ps the cup game is 7pm kick off. In the words of Michael Caine impersonaters "not a lot of people know that" so best to get it mentioned as I suspect a fair few people will turn up at 7.40 and surprised to hear the game already in action.
Would be a good idea to get the PA announcer to remind people today.

Looking forward to my first gas match for a month. Hoping for a 2-0 but looking at Northampton’s form I may be pleased with a 0-0. Hope the weather gets better as I drive north. COYB!
UTG!

Did not realise that Cobblers were in such good form and thought this was a very winnable game. We have had some good away results recently but have yet to follow them up with a convincing home win, thought this could be the time but we have been here a few times this season so, hoping for 3 points but given their form and our home form would not be to disappointed with a draw, come on Rovers!

Looking forward to this one, my son's on a quick visit home, so we're going today and Tuesday.
I'm going for a 3-1 victory for Rovers.

Really can’t see us winning today, our home form has been poor, especially against the better sides in the division.

If it was the other way around, and we were on a winning run; clean sheets; and 3rd in table, we would be relishing playing a stuttering in form; dwindling home support, struggle to make 16th.
We're there for the taking.
I'll happily take 0-0 now with our injury situation and no recognised strikers, but hope for more.

Ali Koiki returns! Also see Dom Telford scored deep into injury time to secure Newport all three points away at Hartlepool last night.Rich vein of form the boy is in.
