Love him or hate him, I reckon he will at least work hard and be visable and available which will be a massive improvement on Starnes.
Only met him a couple of times but I quite liked him so I really hope he doesn't let us down.

Congratulations Tom, 100% deserves it in my opinion, he’s been the most hardworking man at the club in recent years.

Congrats Tom. Gotta be an improvement and like his attitude. He'll get things wrong I am sure but he is at least visible and seems to care! All the best and UTG

Congratulations Tom, has brought some good energy to the club and definitely improved the commercial aspect. Has always been very accessible (he has helped me on a few things where getting nowhere with anyone else at the club) so hopefully with the additional responsibilities the CEO role entails he can still be a good link to the fan base and get things done.

Hopefully Gorringe remains as approachable and engaging as he was in his previous role, he once emailed me gone 11pm to thank me for donating my ST refund to the club, but some of his business decisions e.g. Ticketmaster have left a lot to be desired.
Best of luck Mr. Gorringe.

My only concern is that TG will be more driven to run us as a business and may lose sight of fans in his pursuit of commercial opportunities.
I hope that won't be the case.

I like TG, approachable and on the ball.
My slight worry is his responsibilities, eg player contracts, agents, managers etc?
Assuming he hasn’t done that before?

I have had a lot of dealings with Tom over his time at Rovers and he has always been engaging and true to his word. He is driving the club into the 21st Century. I for one am please with the appointment.

Pleased with that - a big upgrade on Starnes. Always responsive and has certainly done good work in the areas he was responsible for.

That will be the job of Eddy Jennings and JB I would think. When it comes to a football management appointment that will be made as a collective with Wael.

Really pleased for him - he's a grafter. I've always found him to be pleasant to deal with, and a quick responder - hopefully, somebody else will take on this mantle and do it just as well.

This is further good news for the club. Next they will be announcing the new stadium. Has Starnes departed from the club? (Not that I will be disappointed)

First job: extend contracts of Nicholson and Evan’s before jan when they are free to talk to other clubs. Don’t let the same sh** happen again

I wonder if this was the "good things happening off the pitch" which JB referred to the other week?

Congratulations to TG, seems a good appointment based on his good work in his previous role here.
Hopefully he can quickly build bridges between the warring factions within the club, unlike Starnes, and previously Hamer before him. We need to move past the petty childish civil war if we are going to succeed as a club. First off, Widdrington and Barton have to be adults and work together for the good of the team.
