So we are ready for a short ride.
We are now five points from the play-off positions, in 14th place. We have a winning attitude around the club right now and so we can be positive and upbeat like our team clearly are. We will be delighted if, come the start of the New Year, we are one of the teams in the play off positions. It is certainly achievable. We have a few tough games but with this team many on list below are winnable, while some we would be happy with a draw. Where do you see our position on New Years Eve? Automatics seem very hopeful but who knows.
Games ahead of us - league position on 18th November:
Tranmere (H) - 12th Salford (A) - 17th Forest Green (A) - 1st Port Vale (H) - 2nd Rochdale (H) - 13th Scunthorpe (A) - 24th Sutton (H) - 8th Crawley (A) -20th
Eight games, one game at a time of course but certainly 6 are winnable. Like many of you, pretty hopeful and excited about our prospects over the next six weeks.
Where will we be in league table New Years Eve?

Rich, your optimism knows no bounds! 😉 Where will we be? No idea but I know we should take one game at a time. Play on the front foot and attack like we have against Harrogate and Northampton in the league and against Oxford in the cup. You say 6 are winnable, I’d say all 8 are winnable because this is League 2 and from what I’ve seen live everyone can beat everyone. We probably won’t win all 8 but they are winnable. Entering into your spirit I guess 12 points would be ok, 15 points fantastic and anything in between good. But there’s a long way to go yet even if they don’t produce as many points. All I’m worried about now is beating Tranmere then starting to think about.... JBs big worry now and tomorrow is deciding who not to play because in those forward positions and attacking midfield positions he has lots to choose from.
UTG!

Language was a bit weak there. Are all games winnable? For sure. We might well surprise so many if we go on one of these unbeaten (or even winning) runs that take us into a great place come the start of the new year. So much positivity these days. Maybe this positivity and belief in the dressing room might supply us with a Christmas present of bring in automatic places. Some may ignore the dreamers but you can’t deny the dream of the many. Happy days ahead, I feel.

You read too much into the comments. We will all be happy. No division here. Just love, peace and joy. Bring on the matches. Hoping like you for the best.
