I’ll get ready for some stick after this , We have been awful so far , bar the last couple of game which i have been over the moon with and it really did remind me of the Rovers of old , BUT , I will reserve judgement until the end of the season as prior to the great results we’ve just had , The football on display has been the worst I’ve seen , still have lots of mistakes in us especially at the back and we’re playing without a recognised striker even though this has been an issue for the past couple of seasons. Let us not also forget the pathetic and frankly embarrassing pre and post match interviews from JB spouting jibberish at any given opportunity. Don’t get me wrong I’m still buzzing from the last few results and i pray that we really have turned a corner but under this manager and with this team we have already had a fair few false new dawns and I certainly think it’s way to early to even be thinking that this is a ‘new beginning’ I just hope the lads keep plugging away and getting the results necessary to get us higher up the league and in with a chance of getting out of this division. Fingers and toes and eyes crossed , UTG The football on display has been the worst you've seen. What are you, 6? Close but no cigar mate , 38 but not for much longer 39 in January 😭😭😭

Had a flash back when I saw that! Gasincider lives on in all of us! Brian was Blue through and through and not afraid to challenge the supporters club or the club board if he felt there was a need to (which he frequently did)

It doesn't matter if Barton is here or not, same group of players, not a bad period with form etc for a new gaffer to take over and plenty out of work who could get the same minimum and hopefully better out of this squad. Really don't think Barton matters, it's not him crossing the white line You sure about that? If so, how do you explain how Ben Garner took the same players from 4th place to nearly being relegated before Covid saved the day? Provided JB gets not guilty verdicts in both cases, it's time to stop al this sniping at him - he hasn't put a foot wrong with Rovers yet. Or the argument can go the other way and observe that Barton did even worse than Garner. That’s plain fact. Also fact, Garner is doing a bit better than Barton this season after both had been rebuilding their respective squads. I stand by my opinion thanks

It isn't just about the results though, it's the way the team played to achieve them which is very encouraging for the future. Yep. And they're actually starting to hammer out results, starting to put performances together, even with injuries, the crowd is getting behind them now because the fight and hard work is back. But hey, get rid of him so someone else can come in and ruin it right? f**k me, three wins since Newport (one being the cup) and suddenly Barton’s the right man. This place is baffling I’ve never seen a fan base quite like it.

How can you say he hasn't put a foot wrong yet, when he promised to keep us up and we were relegated. If he kept his promise we wouldn't be in this sh*t division. Apart from two court cases, relegation, controversial remarks to the press about holocausts, slagging off his players, slagging off the managerial team, and calling the club cancerous, he hasn't put a foot wrong.

So after getter hammered by Exeter (twice), Newport and Swindon at home within a few months, we beat the mighty Harogate, a average Northampton side and win a freak kamikaze game against Oxford we are at "a monumental period in our history"...jesus christ.

Why look so far back? Why throw cold water on enthusiasm? We have turned the corner. Wouldn’t want this attitude in our changing rooms. Harrogate & Northampton are 4th & 5th in the table. The fight back against Oxford. What we saw was drive & desire. We certainly would not have done that last season. Look forward my friend. Wake up. Smell the coffee. We are starting a new journey that offers much hope to many. Enjoy the ride.

Joey was right on the football items above. Truth hursts. Move on man. The attitude in club is changing. A winning mentality is returning as we can see and can predict. An exciting few months awaits. We won’t agree. You are entitled to your opinion. That’s my view.

How can you consider Northampton "average" when they were a top 3 side, likewise Harrogate might be consider footballing giants but they are another top 7 side with a very good home record.

It's only the one court case, Wael knew full well the first one was taking place when he was appointed. The comments about the club were a means to an end, if we make the top 7 then the comments have clearly worked.
