Definitely not offside, done yet again by a official ,but we have to learn to kill games like this off 🙄 Anyway enjoy UTG 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

Tbh we did kill the game off that was a goal. Officials not doing their job once again has cost us. I know we had other chances but VAR would have won us that game

It’s a great bit of movement by Pitman to stay onside for his ‘goal’. Unfortunately he has not only fooled the defender but also the linesman.

No wonder the manager was furious, that Luke Thomas chance is game, set & match on a plate.

He would be better off questioning why the only number 9 option we have is a crock who can't run, after signing the other number 9 who is approaching his 37th birthday, a lad that had 2 hamstring injuries last season and a back operation, who is now out for the season after playing a total of 86 minutes for us.

I’ve got to admit I’ve gone from excited by Barton’s appointment to extremely disappointed to now being excited again !! The football we are playing now is exactly what I thought we’d be playing when he took over as his fleetwood sides were brilliant to watch. However I agree with pirate here in that he has got the striker recruitment drastically wrong this year and needs to rectify it in Jan if we are to make top 7. We are scraping wins despite dominating games or drawing because we can’t put teams to bed as we have no natural finishers on the pitch. Pitman aside when fit which let’s face it Hel be in and out all season.

We most be a more exciting prospect for some of League 2 (and even 1) best strikers than playing for the likes of Salford, FGR etc etc. Do they pay that much more? Imagine scoring in front of our travelling hoards or a packed Mem every week? Got to be more job satisfaction than the embarrassing numbers supporting league 2's "big boys" Salford. Make someone an offer they cant refuse!

I must admit I was exactly in line with the linesman when he put his flag up. JB says he was 2 yards on side, to me he was inline with the last defender and I am not surprised the lino put up his flag.
VAR may have shown a toe or an arm offside but we will never know.
The annoying thing is the same linesman didn't want to put his flag up in the first half and 3 times I felt Salford were offside but he kept it down, yet it seemed he could not wait to put it up in the second half (as we predicted at halftime during our halftime chat)
