Good news in October Stadium?
Although with the Fruit Market connections and Apple probably dominating everything by 2030 the "Apple Stadium"

Good shout, am I right in thinking St. Philips Marsh is an island? I believe you can only get to it by crossing water. 🤔 Feeder Rd doesn't cross the river or the Feeder at the south end, surprised nobody has suggested: Wael Al-Qadi Stadium or WAQ Stadium If it is ever built then it will be solely down to him, even if the plans were, apparently, somebody else's to start with.

Apologies, I thought you couldn’t get there without crossing water, it seems I’m wrong. 👍

Pretty sure you are right. Which makes Google Maps wrong then? The other side of Temple Meads is also an island, isn't it?

The distance between Totterdown Basin and the New Cut is less than a hundred metres which means that St. Philip’s is approximately 99% surrounded by water and makes it the ideal place to build a fortress…except it’s on marsh land, which, Ur, makes us the marsh Arabs!

Not really that bothered what it’s called
What I do hope is that some serous thought Is put into the match day experience, kids entertainment, decent beer, decent food, live music…… a hall of fame and stands named after club legends
I’m already looking forward to sitting in the Devon White stand.
Wouldn’t it be bloody great to have somewhere to be proud of for once in our lives??

The Colston stadium in memory of a upstanding citizen who did so much for the City of Bristol. Without whom Black Lives Matter wouldn't matter

If I was pushed to name it would be named
The GAS STADIUM and sponsored for huge / big bucks and suitable (Gas) energy supplier ……..Calor? Etc Many new stadiums use a sponsor it’s the way of the world these days and the naming rights would bring in yearly sums to invest in the club of course.
I think it’s a no brainer.

And why not ? Eastville Stadium is etched on the hearts of so many of us. And many fans from other clubs remember it too, through misty eyes. Why not? I can think of one reason. It wouldn't be in Eastville. Do Rotherham Utd play in New York ? Do West Ham play in West Ham ? And Raith (as in Raith Rovers) is nowhere to be seen anywhere in Kirkcaldy.......
