Why not? I can think of one reason. It wouldn't be in Eastville. Do Rotherham Utd play in New York ? Do West Ham play in West Ham ? And Raith (as in Raith Rovers) is nowhere to be seen anywhere in Kirkcaldy....... The New York Stadium is in a place called "New York" in Rotherham. West Ham play in "The London Stadium", in..err..London. Raith Rovers are named Raith Rovers due to the history of Raith estate in Kirkcaldy and their stadium is named Stark's Park. Not sure what you said has anything to do with justifying why a stadium in St Phillip's Marsh should be named New Eastville, but we can agree to disagree and this is all just a bit of fun after all.

Running with the Fruit Market location - how about a crossover - that and a tribute to a former manager: The Cherry Francis Stadium

As Wael was a regular at the bridge (stamford bridge-chelsea fc) maybe he will opt for totterdown bridge as a stadium name. With the home kop being the Tott end . I dont think there is a danger of the club name being changed to Totterdown hotspurs though.

The flying pig stadium. Sorry to sound pessimistic but my excitement about new stadium stories waned years ago. When the ground workers move in and the work starts I’ll believe it.
