I've noticed that a lot of our new leisurewear appears to have ditched the existing pirate logo in favour of a 'monogram' logo. Other than the 'blackout' stuff this logo appears on most of the new gear and a lot of the old stuff is either in clearance or sold out. brfcdirect.co.uk/collections/leisurewearAre we about to change logo? Personally, I quite like the existing pirate logo and I'm not a fan of this new monogram, so would be extremely disappointed if we ditched the pirate for this 'mongram'

No change needed, and I don't want a new tattoo.

It’s clearly a marketing strategy for leisure wear items that could do with something a little more subtle in regard to it being a ‘Bristol Rovers’ top/hoody/polo etc…
I think the emblem is smart, gone the Boycie days of having a huge BRFC club badge emblazoned on everything, attracting all manner of attention & not all of it always good whilst out strolling the streets of our fair city.
Relax Gasheads, this is no new club crest.

It’s just a marketing technique to get nostalgic Gasheads to part with their hard earned cash.
I can sort of understand why they use that badge on the leisure wear as the club badge wouldn’t suit that image as much, the monogram is more minimalist.

I gotta be honest I think our Pirate logo is the business. All my mates over here, who support a huge cross section of English clubs think it's cool too. UTG!

I have a few of the "Crossed Swords" clothing items, which I think is a good logo...subtle but still known to those that know

Some pretty decent stuff in there to be fair. Was so used to the shop selling dross that I never bother to look at it.

We have a Pirate as one of our mascots at the Central Coast Mariners.
The BBQ sauce bottle has got a bit of a reputation though.

Is that a pork pie in the middle ? Gets my vote !

They have to cater for different tastes in order to maximize sales. Market segments and all that.
