I think this will get more visibility on here than on the transfer window thread. Let the thread remain 🙂

Sell on fee must be at least 10â„… ? It was reported to be 20%, but nothing official just what the media said was "understood".

This would be an interesting one...
If City did make a move for him then they would end up (indirectly) paying us more than they did when they signed Matty Taylor.
They need to offload some players first for FFP.. so hopefully it won't happen and he'll find another Championship club willing to splash some cash

Taylor going to them was different. I'm sure JCH would be respectful about it all if he did go there though. Puts a bit of £££ in our pockets too.

He can go to whoever pays the most money for him as far as I’m concerned.
Nice little payday.

Same as Beadle when he went to City, not arsed really as he didnt go direct to them from the gas.
Same as Beadle id hate him if he ever scored for them and celebrated against us though, although very unlikely to play them for that to happen!!

I’d suspect that the sell on fee is on profit as well so given the amounts already received I don’t think it’ll be a large payday

Couldn't care less where he goes but though i have not checked his record this season, he has not set the Championship alight with his goals has he? Ps if he goes to City make sure the cheque don't bounce!

Are City preparing for L1 football next season?

JCH would be better off going to Sunderland. Way bigger club than City obviously and likely stay in the Championship when they do return. P'boro are poor side and league 1 bound, City may well be to.

Let’s hope he moves on. Couldn’t care less if it’s city or not, that 20% whatever the fee is goes towards our club’s existence for another season. Anymore to progress is a bonus!

JCH is one of those players that is too good for L1 but just not quite good enough for the championship.
The championship is that little bit more athletic, more skilful and suits the technically gifted players more.
I don’t think he’ll go to City. I can’t see him being the fit for the system they play. Sunderland will be the ideal destination. Drop a league for 6 months and go back to the championship next season.

If we buy him back, do we then get 20% back on the transfer fee?

JCH is a fantastic player.
He's naturally a big boy and league one defenders can't handle that- regardless of his own fitness.
I think in the championship he needs to be at peak fitness in the championship.
