Sod the thread on the day, thought I'd start one. Everyone going tomorrow? Another 3 points with a fighting performance will set me up for a damned fine weekend.
Thoughts? Predictions?

We need to win to keep the momentum going. Not the end of the world if we get a draw but if we are seriously hoping to put in a challenge at the top then we need to win. I think we will and a nice comfortable 2-0 would be great. UTG!

My biggest worry is that I’m so looking forward to getting back down there and cheering on the lads , that well proper c@@@k it up , it happens every single time that I’m confident of a decent performance. So to protect us from not getting the win , I’ll predict a loss.

We never had Nicholson,Thomas or Collins in the starting eleven when we played at their place (Collins got 20 minutes as sub) so we should carry a much bigger threat up front.I don’t think Finley will be risked as we have no midweek game next week and a 10 day rest would seem most beneficial if he’s only a 50/50 chance of playing against Walsall.

I’m never confident of winning unless Finley plays. We really are a completely different side when he plays. We have no one that can perform the role he does. Him and Taylor are the most important players for us and our season depends on those 2 remaining fit so I agree he won’t be risked tomorrow if there’s any doubt when the scan results come back.

I think we’ll either do it or just miss out. We’ve very slowly gained momentum throughout the season and if that continues we’ll be there or there abouts.

My (considerable) gut says that we'll fall just short. We gave ourselves too much ground to cover following a poor start. We need automatic promotion form for the rest of the season to give ourselves a shout. But it should be an entertaining end to the campaign if we can pull some wins together and get us sniffing around the play-off zone - you never know...

Not getting over confident but 3 points are definitely there for the taking. Get 7 out of the next three games and then I think we could possibly think about getting the Bus out the garage, give it a wash & polish' then maybe we could think about turning the key and get the engine warmed up....... Or maybe reverse the bus back into the garage. Next three games are important to see where we're really at (for me) anyway..... I'm thinking a 2-0 Gas Win

Very confident indeed we'll win this one. Confidence is pretty high, bit of a feel good atmosphere at the moment, a decent crowd I would think after the Hartlepool, Swindon and Scunny results, and above all, Walsall are pretty poor.
4-0. Definitely. Thank me later.

Yes, I think we’ll push for the play offs. I’m not sure we’ll achieve them, perhaps just miss out. But we’ve got some momentum and with JB as our manager I think we’ve developed a “the-worlds-against-us-so-****- ‘em” attitude and we have some determination. For the first time for a long time we carry a bit of pace and skill in the midfield and attacking areas. We look dangerous. If we could be more clinical up front and stop switching off for 10/15 minute spells I’d be very confident. Our defence doesn’t look like a promotion challenging defence on occasions and that may stop us achieving a top 7 place. But I’m enjoying watching us for the first time in two years. UTG!
