Who should Joey have as his No 1 keeper when both are fit? Both have their strengths and weaknesses as seen yesterday where Anssi made a couple of great saves but could be partially at fault for the goal. Would Belshaw who has an excellent command of his area prevented the goal but not make the saves Anssi made

Belly has earned the shirt this season.
However if Jaakola performs well before he comes back it'll be an awkward decision for Joey.
We're blessed with two fantastic keepers.

Belshaw definitely. Anssi may be a slightly better shot stopper but Belly works better with the way we play as more of a ‘sweeper keeper’. Gives me much more confidence when pressing with a high line and his clearances when he comes out are excellent. The most comfortable with the ball at his feet of all the keepers I’ve seen play for us. I think he’s Joey’s no. 1 now too the way he was talking about hoping to have him back for next Saturday. Anssi is a great back up to have though.

Belshaw all day long. Is the link between the thatchers and players. Gets the gas more then annsi The sweeper keeper role he plays is pivotal to the pressing game we play on opposition defences and allows us to play further upfield. Better footballer and commander of his keeper area

Belshaw , deserves the number 1 spot this season , has kept us in many games. Anssi still a good keeper and I think we’re lucky to have the keepers we have, and he also saved us at the death yesterday UTG

For me pound for pound Jaakkola is the better keeper.

Our Flying Finn by a whisker for me.
It's a mark of what a good job Joe and WAQ are doing,in that we now have two great GKs and a highly rated youngster.
Nice feeling not to worry at all which one plays.

A fortunate position to be in. Enjoy it.
Young Jed Ward being slowly developed as well.
All those LOAN keepers days are behind us.
Thankfully.

I think Anssi is the better keeper but Belly fits our style of play better!

Yes , I think he’ll be in between the sticks Tuesday , then Belshaw back for the weekend. We really are strong in the that position

Belshaw.
IMO Anssi edges it on shot-stopping. Belshaw better with his feet, coming for crosses, sweeping behind the defence and has a great rapport with the supporters.
Belshaw’s all-round style is much more suited to the football we want to play.
