Taylor starting for Stoke today. As they lost 2-0 I'm not sure whether that's good or bad news for us!

One of their better players according to their forum. I think this is another one we can forget about now

Mom for most on their forum. We have to move on.

Our best hope is their manager gets sacked (which most Stoke fans seem to want) and the new gaffer doesnt fancy him.
I'd have signed Ben Goodliffe from Sutton, would easily step up to L1.

It's odd we've made so many defensive changes, of today's back 4 only Connolly played regularly in the same position last season. Perhaps it's no surprise they defended as if they'd only met up at 3pm. We need someone to lead the back 4 and that's clearly not going to be Hoole this season. Bought back 4 played well. Midfield in front of them all over the place shape wise today. And Westbrook is just a body and someone pretending to be a professional footballer

FGR seemed to break though our defence like a knife through butter, they could have had 6 or 7 goals but for Balshaw and an offside decision in our favour. We're just as bad after Westbrooke was subbed off.

Agree. We could have lost by a much bigger margin. We were not very good at the back and often wide open and lacked leadership.Even the excellent Belshaw nearly cost us when he beat their forward with a clever bit of very risky dribbling.Belshaw though was top notch.

Square one? E Anderson was the fluke signing?

Elliot Anderson for Westbrook as a player exchange would work for both parties

MILLWALL 2 v 0 STOKE CITY
Connor Taylor was the only player awarded above 6 out of 10 by the Stoke Sentinel.
e.g. Aden Flint awarded 5 out of 10.
"Connor Taylor: Showed aggression to make sure Afobe and Malone know they were in a game. Looked well up for it. 7 out of 10."
Highly unlikely that he is returning to The Mem in this current transfer window.
Injuries to other central defenders and the inability, so far, to sign the required left footed centre half means he has his chance.
January "might" be different.

Forget January as hopefully whoever has replaced CT will have become established.
If he's not then CT won't want to return to a struggling L1 side.
