Blimey.
Might not be as serious as it sounds tho, something like a VSD which is something my son has, which can be corrected very easily and may cause little or no problems in the meantime, but occasionally may cause a little shortness of breath.
Many people have and live with VSDs and still play sport etc.

All the best Connor. No risks should be taken, rest him until all is well. It’s only football.
UTG!

It sounds like it's an issue which comes and goes, not sure there's any need to rest him if he's now recovered and so can wait 'til the summer for the op. Although sometimes you do wonder if JB's too open with the press, why not just say CT felt unwell during the warm up and leave it at that?

Minor heart surgery who knew there was such a thing Usually the very mention of heart problems sends shivers. As said above though it's nothing to panic about and maybe its been known about for some time. All the same good job the problem has been identified.

Right decision pulling Connor out, has been outstanding for us, if you need it now Connor crack on more important than football, if it can wait without health risks even better.
One of the best loans since Curo

Although sometimes you do wonder if JB's too open with the press, why not just say CT felt unwell during the warm up and leave it at that? It may come and go but I would maintain that no risks should be taken and would rest him until well. But I appreciate others may feel differently. And in the end it comes down to how important people feel football is. And more importantly it will come down to CT himself as it should do. But I agree with you over JBs openness with the press, now CT may well have to answer this question about his health more than he wants to. Istr DC never told anyone anything and when Peter Hartley did he was soon out of the club! UTG!

Wish him well.
From a Gas point of view if we lose our player of the season, we can kiss goodnight to the play offs.
Maybe we could recall Egan and Lovelock and give them a few games towards the end of the season if we are only going to be mid table.

Hopefully makes a full and speedy recovery. All the best Connor! I echo these sentiments. He has been fantastic for us. If he cannot play for us, should we send him back for Stoke to cover his wages?

I wish Connor all the best with this problem and hope he goes on to have a great career in the game. His efforts for us would suggest this and hopefully it is not the last time we see him in the Quarters.

I suffered with this condition for around 40 years before it was finally diagnosed. For no apparent reason heartbeat would go from normal to around 180 beats per min, it would last from a few seconds to a few minutes, then it was like driving a car in 6th gear and suddenly shifting into first gear as the heart went back into normal. Finally had the procedure in 2003 - you stay awake, whist they perform an electrophysiology study of the electrical pathways, by inserting a wire through the groin up to the surface of the heart - that took about 3 hours, then they decided to freeze to abnormal pathways but couldn’t get the problem to stop, it took over 7 hours in total & I remember every minute. Was due to stay in overnight but the issue happened again during the night & into the following morning so they took me down again Following day & did it again, this time using radio waves to burn the effected pathways, this time had a good sedative, I was there for 3 hours but only remember 30 min. Thankfully (he says touching wood) not had the issue since. Not the most pleasant procedure as you are awake, and the fact it didn’t work first time, but open heart surgery it ain’t. Apart from normal risks with any procedure like that, if the affected pathways are close to the AV node, which controls the electrical workings, then that could be effected and could cause you to have a pacemaker fitted. Luckily for me, again this didn’t happen. UTG
