An Orient fans review of last night. Good to see this, as last season was so dross! We have our Rovers back!
One team signed quality and experience in January. And another team didn't.
Interesting that the goalscorer for Bristol Rovers, Anthony Evans was the top name on Kenny's midfielders to sign in January but it seems like we couldn't persuade him the leave. He looked quality.
They also signed Jon Nolan from Ipswich who was on our list and he didn't even play today.
But from number 1 to number 11 the Bristol Rovers team had way too much skill, know how, experience and tactical nous.
Harsh to single out Coleman and Young, but they just ain't ready. They looked way off League Two standard. Maybe one of them in a more experienced and winning team, but not both when you're lining up against quality opposition.
The fact is today we were just beaten by a better team. We have to hold our hands up and admit that they just have better players than when we played them earlier in the season. They have strengthened. They look good. They looked classy and made it look easy.
We got pulled to shreds.

To add to that one said, "they looked like a decent league 1 team to me"

I saw quite a few posts from Orient fans saying that we were some of the best away fans we've had there.
Although there was also one Twitter account who accused us of cheating (ie. playing the COVID card when we were in poor form to get a replay when we were playing better - seems like a stretch to me!)
