Mods you have a choice. I can still start an official match thread if you want. We have won our last 3 games all started by me (8-0 in total over those 3 games). On your head be it if we don't win today but the offer is there. I know what I think you will choose and that is to stick 2 fingers up to me, which is fine. But like I said on your head be it. UTG! Just love your humility.

BRISTOL ROVERS
Last 4 HOME fixtures.
Played - 4. Won - 3. Drew - 1.
Goals scored - 5. Goals conceded - 0.
EXETER CITY
Last 4 AWAY fixtures.
Played - 4. Won - 3. Drew - 1.
Goals scored - 5. Goals conceded - 1.
Doubt a 4-3 AWAY victory for The Grecians.
Equally unlikely: 4 - 2 HOME success.
Could be 1 - 0. BUT...........to whom?

Today is the toughest game so far of our recent matches I think and if we win that will be a real statement of intent…. We looked great against Orient up until the substitutions but I worry about fatigue if we go same again…. I do think Anderton will be back and I think the Scouse Messi will keep his place with the Geordie Messi starting on the bench… I think how Exeter play may also suit us now and I think it’s going to be a great game to watch….
Head says draw but I have my lucky mascot daughter coming with me today and she has a 100% win record watching the gas (4 games) so we’re on for the win!

Pretty amazing that today a win could actually see us in a playoff slot.
Just also need Bradford to beat Mansfield.
That will be quite an achievement from wherever we were not so long ago -18th?
Credit to Barton for that. He obviously knows his football.

I’d be very happy with an entertaining score draw. Meeting an Exeter fan family member before and after so defeat will make them unbearable.

I just can’t help but think that fatigue is going to catch up with the team soon, especially with Exeter being fully rested. I think I would take a draw right now. I’d rather be in our shoes ( boots ) , than theirs. You don’t feel tired when you’re on a great run of results and you literally can’t wait for the next match to come along . Much rather that than kicking your heels for ten days going a bit rusty.

Two inform teams in this division will be a tough game, great if we could win it though, would not just open the door for a play off place but a top three which I am sure JB is still aiming for it is doable especially if we can beat teams like Exeter. Come on you gas.

Just speaking to couple of people who are regulars at FGR. The draw there was 2 points dropped in their opinion. Exeter 7 shots on target against FGRs 1. Exeter controlled the 1st 30 mins (sound familiar). They did lose at Sutton though. Keep it tight for the first 20-30 mins and go from there.

I can kind of understand the keep it tight for 20 odd minutes but I think we need to play the game we’ve been playing, go at them on the front foot from the start. With a back 4 we’ve looked much tighter anyway but we need to take it to them, attack and make them worry about us. I’ll eat humble pie if we’re 2 down after half an hour!! COYB! UTG!

I was thinking our team is a completely different one to the away game back in august, but was surprised to see the bulk of the team still the same. Goes to show how they’ve improved as a unit - plus a few very decent additions!
James Belshaw, Mark Hughes, Josh Grant, Sam Finley, Aaron Collins (71' Pitman), Paul Coutts (C), Nick Anderton, Harry Anderson, Harvey Saunders (45' Hanlan), Jack Baldwin (45' Nicholson), Alex Rodman.
