www.bristolpost.co.uk/Darrell-Clarke-s-doing-good-rebuilding-job/story-25758377-detail/story.htmlMakes a good read. I would be interested in what DC makes of Marcus and his contribution. I wonder how they get on and if this will be a long term partnership ? I still think everyone needs to be patient with the fans as much as the fans with the team as its been a tough time to be a gashead. If DC delivers he will get the full support it will deserve but a few moments of nerves are bound to happen along the way.

"Angelo Balanta is in light training again after suffering a minor hamstring problem"
So those posters suggesting OC's subbing of AB on Friday wasn't a tactical move may have been corrert after all?

I rather assumed that most people at the game, or even watching on TV, would have spotted that he clearly wasn't playing to his capability, wasn't running at full spped, and wasn't getting close enough to make tackles. whether that was injury, illness or whatever else seemed relatively unimportant. We were getting murdered down our right side. A change needed to be made, and with only a couple of options on the bench, it all worked well.

The ice he had on his hamstring after going off was a pretty big clue lol. Still changed formation and the way we were playing though.

Hi all, dont post much but it would be easy to put the change down to Balanta's injury but feel this does DC a massive disservice. If it was simply an injury he could have brought on Gosling & gone like for like, instead he switched to a diamond pushed Sinclair on to stop the no 8 from effectively having a free role & from that moment the game changed. Credit where its due.

Anyone at the match or watching on BT Sports from the first minute could see Balanta was not at the races and useless , and should have been taken off after 10 minutes
