What’s our record like against them? It feels like we often lose but I may be making that up! In the play offs and possibly more. Just Wow.
Ain’t no mountain high enough to keep me from you.
We are on our way.
So many have the confidence that we can win these days.
Fully expecting another good performance, zero goals conceded. At some time this team will score a hat full. If not now, when.
The gas are coming.

Colchester are actually in great form, unbeaten in 4 and winning their last 2, including a 1-0 against Port Vale.
They only lost 2-1 at Mansfield in February (matching the Stags for possession), and a couple of weeks prior they drew with Swindon and won 3-0 at Salford.
They've clearly improved and have had success against other playoff contenders so I'm expecting another tough game where the first goal could be important.
We're not going to score goals of the quality we did against Harrogate every game so we'll need to create more chances.
This is one of those games where a glance at the league table makes it look like a banker home win but Colchester's recent form is not that of a struggling side and they might relax and play even better now they've put a bit of daylight between themselves and the bottom 2.
I'd be happy with any sort of Rovers win. It would set us up nicely for a trip to Northampton on Saturday. 2-1 to the Gas!

It's my birthday tomorrow and I'm going out for a meal in lovely Chippenham with a lady friend. Slightly annoyed to miss the game, but not half as annoyed as she'll be when I spend the most of the evening reading this thread on my phone.
4-1 win. Better still, watch the game through ifollow on your phone

Tight game tonight me thinks, but I do believe we have enough in the locker to nick it by the odd goal. 1-0 or 2-1

Looking at their recent form from another angle, it seems they struggle away against the top sides, as recently they've lost to Sutton, FGR, Northampton and Mansfield. If we're on our game again tonight we should pick up the 3 pts, if we do then the play off places should look interesting later, as Newport will do well to win at Carlisle and the PV v Mansfield & Swindon v Sutton fixtures mean points will dropped in those fixtures. I can't see the others dropping points unless they are really bottling it/Tisdale's Stevenage do us a big favour.

I’ve got a friend from uni coming over from Beccles, Norfolk for this evening’s match.
This is the first time in years a friend has said they’re in town the same time as a game and I’m not apologising in advance for the performance they’ll witness.

Dont think this is going to be an easy one. A win of any kind is vital as we move into a period of really tough games. Go into that in the play off zone would be a huge physiological boost. If we can win by 2 or 3 would be a massive statement and would boost the goal difference a bit

A few scores to keep an eye out for tonight:
Carlisle United vs Newport County Port Vale vs Mansfield Town Swindon Town vs Sutton United
Of course we can only concentrate on ourselves, BUT grab a win tonight and we'll be in the Playoff positions.

Feeling a bit rough so not going tonight. Normally win evening games that I miss. Will ban myself until after Saturday's game if we drop points

Colchester United's Interim Head Coach, Wayne Brown has issued a rallying call to his players to continue their momentum on the road at Bristol Rovers this evening.
The U's are currently on a four-game unbeaten run with two wins and two draws over the last couple of weeks.
All NINE goals they have scored in this unbeaten run have come in the second half. Wayne Brown seems to use three subs each game; usually bringing them on early in the second half.
They seem to either WIN or LOSE on the road while they have drawn 4 of their recent Home matches. The league table is not a good guide to their current form.
A victory tonight is far from a foregone conclusion. Avoiding defeat is important if the play offs are to be a realistic target.
Over the last FOUR matches BRFC are 3rd in the Form Table with 9 points and CUFC are 4th with 8 points.

3-1 Gas
Going to concede a rare one on home turf, but only when the points are already sewn up late on.

I love the group.
For fans like me who can’t always get to games it does give us a link to the club that without it we would not have.
It’s like standing or sitting next to fans at a game or having banter down the pub.
I know some views are not always appreciated but the majority are kind, considerate and welcoming.
I love these two games a week. It’s been a great few weeks. Like many, I Just the love the way we are playing these days and can’t wait for tonight’s match.
