Appreciate that we won’t win every game (even if it feels like it). I’d probably take a point there this weekend.
That said every game is massively winnable, love the way we dominate the ball these days, 60+% most weeks is incredible and beautiful to watch
I’m getting excited already

A game that we must win to break top 3 or at worst draw... if we go there, don't be afraid to play on the front foot then i don't see why we couldn't get 3 points.

Win here and I really believe we’ll be on our way to automatics.

Northampton score a good percentage of thier goals from set pieces, need to limit corners and free kicks. Will be a tough game but confident of taking something from it.

TBH I am confident we will get a result at Sixfields and think the more difficult fixture is the game at Carlisle (especially without Billy Elliot)
Our last 20 v Northampton include just 3 defeats with 11 wins overall and only 2 defeats in 10 at Northampton

I predict a draw but it is a winnable game on our current form. Trouble is I think we really have to keep winning due to Exeters Mansfield’s and Port Vales games in hand.
It’s funny but the weekend has seemed to start on a Friday recently with so many of our rivals games happening then. Newport v Hartlepool this Friday sets us up for Saturday.

Can I just say, I Fn hate Northampton.
Like Gillingham, always in our league, always quite good, often very good at hoofball.
Perhaps it was that playoff game in 98 but I’ve always had the reverse of a soft spot for them. An irrational dislike.
So, to summarise: I will love it if we beat them, love it!

Looking at Soccerstats, next 4 games are our make or break 3 away games the highest ppg (1.71) opponents of anyone in the division and there is our relatively poor performance against the top sides.
BUT this team finds a way. One game at a time. Draw or sneak another 1-0 and we are on way to the autos!

I would say we are in better form www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-two/table Also I would rather be the team making the late run than the team that has been working hard all season to stay up there, looking behind themselves and with cracks appearing. Ripe!

Have Rovers sold all of the ticket allocations for Northampton? I believe we had around 300 left when tickets were taken off sale online yesterday, I expect most of those got snapped up quick from the club shop after the final whistle last night.

I hate them too, mainly for the financial irregularities that happened with embezzling money from the council. Complete abuse of tax payers money. Now it looks like they are getting some more. We’ve never had any financial Benefits like that and it’s held us back, it gives them as a club an advantage. I’ll get off my soapbox now

I’d be a little surprised if we didn’t sell out our allocation for this one given the current run of form. Given the importance of the game to both sides, I’m wondering if they regret giving the extra 400 allocation.

Northampton are mid table based on recent form. If we play to our best we have every reason to believe we can take 3 points. The team are professional and focused on the job in hand these days. Pretty hopeful here. Three points to the gas and the enthusiasm will be off the scale. The gas are coming.

How many tickets have we got for this match Pete Weymouth confirmed 1500 for the match and yesterday at 10pm only 125 we’re left. I imagine after yesterday’s win they’ll be all gone by today.
