Gosh what a day, bit of a chilly start but the sun was shining and the atmosphere pre game was brilliant, the fanzone really is working and creating a buzz. Entering the ground maybe a little like visiting Chernobyl however it’s the people that make places and I swear I haven’t seen so many youngsters/families at Rovers before and most of all they seem to be enjoying the experience. Onto the game and boy when the whistle goes the nerves and anxiety kicks in, and I mean in the crowd not on the pitch where the lads look confident, totally dominating the game they went behind ridiculously, but then, oh my did they respond by slipping into top gear, relentless pressure eventually showing the true winners out there. I have to say I think this is the best style of football I have ever seen at Rovers. Whatever I happens I am so proud of my team and club again 💙 Enjoy your Sunday. It's great that there's a real buzz all around the ground these days. Heard a few lone voices become defeatist after the Bradford goal, however, the majority got behind the team, and the boys did us proud. A great advert for Division 4 football. Credit to Mark Hughes for applauding the home support as he made his way across the pitch at the end of the game. Loved seeing Joey celebrating with the ball boys when he reached the tunnel.

Just a worry that most of the other teams, around us, have at least one game in hand and many have 2. I think this could be the biggest problem for us although, personally, I would rather have points than games in hand I'm pretty sure that at least one of those games in hand is against another team in the mix, so not so much of a worry. Edit Mansfield have Salford, Sutton and Forest Green (home and away) Exeter have Port Vale, Northampton and Tranmere Port Vale have Salford, Gas, Newport an Exeter. Northampton just have Exeter although their form doesn't look great at the moment. Tranmere have Gas and Exeter Newport have Swindon, Sutton and Port Vale Salford have Gas, Port Vale and Mansfield Swindle have Newport and Forest Green Sutton have Mansfield and Newport I wouldn't worry about games in hand too much.

Everyone enjoying their Sunday? Watched an amazing performance by the lads yesterday, again, rewarded with 3 well deserved points. Spent the morning watching the highlights, now enjoying a few beers in the local, in the sun.
Perfect.
Oh, and the sh1t lost again. Heh heh.

What a brilliant performance from Joey and the his team of talented footballers. A special shout out to Sam Finley, he was ridiculously good yesterday. It was tremendous see the ground sell out again, especially as there are supposedly so many supporters believed to be staying away. I am personally loving the pattern of play, and the noise from the terrace was fantastic. Onwards and upwards. Utg

We were applauding the players who were still coming off the pitch (well, I was anyway). He applauded as he got near the West Enclosure, I don't imagine that he would have thought we were applauding him - he seemed fairly low key for a big name. Justy appreciated the good atmosphere I think.

If you can achieve that, you have a level playing field for both teams and can start imposing your own game plan on proceedings. I think Mark Hughes realised that they were never going to keep us quiet and that contributed to how hard his team found the game.

............and as that's almost a wrap, it's worth pointing out Bradford have still NEVER beaten us on our own turf. Never, ever in their history...........as you were.
