We almost want Scunthorpe to still be fighting for survival when we play them, although looking at the gap there’s zero chance of it happening!! Relegated teams quite often finish on a high as the pressure is off! Tell that to Alfreton and Dagenham 😉 True, I can’t argue with that 😀

At this moment in team, we are the feared team in the division. Bring it on.

Things are so tight in there that just 1 individual error could be the difference between making the playoffs or dropping out completely. Normally some teams have already booked their playoff place at this stage but Sutton are still in with a good shout in 11th place.

Agreed, we can forget about Exeter. They are verryyy consistent. Need them to do us some favours by beating some of the other sides around us. Think they’re playing Northampton and Vale still? I kind of feel like there's a destiny about Vale too for some reason. If we finish in the playoffs, I personally hope Exeter and Vale get 2nd and third as I'd fancy us against all the others in the playoffs. With that ,I really hope Mansfield don’t go up . They’ve got some real twatish fans.

Too close to really call it with anything other than hope. 2 weeks ago Northampton were down after losing to us, then they were up after winning last weekend when we lost. This week they are down again. Newport the same. It’s about what we do. Just concentrate on the Tranmere match, play on the front foot and get the 3 points then look at the table after. Then prepare for the next match. Fingers crossed.
UTG!

I think we need to say Exeter goes up and beats all our rivals, I think that will give us the best chance. If we can take 9 of next 12 and beating Tranmere and PV in process then there is a chance.
Lose against PV then def play offs. I wouldn't be surprised if table stays as is (with Play off teams maybe mixing about a bit) and we absolutely have nothing to fear against them

Oldham fighting too stay up will have the biggest impact on who goes up. Next 5 games port vale, northampton, forest green, saltford and tranmere.
They are now honoury gasheads until the end of the season

Tuesday we probably want an FGR win and vale to draw with Salford. T But all we can do is keep playing as we are and we will win the majority. If we can be a bit more ruthless!

This is the best Rovers team in years.
We don’t look like conceding many goals and have an energy that get about the opposition.
At some point this team will score a huge win. With the way we play this could happen in any fixture against any team.
The players have the talent, confidence and the momentum is with the gas. Win our games and automatics might be possible. Belief and hope in equal measure and who knows.
This team can win all our remaining games. Our recent performances suggest that this could easily happen.

But I hope JB and the club do concentrate on the next match and prepare well for it and don’t get ahead of themselves. I really think you know what I mean! 😉 UTG!

I'm starting to get more confident, I think port vale away we will maybe draw, but quietly confident on the others. Be nice to get Evo and Anderson back, The Gas are coming! Evans return will be welcome but Elliot Anderson played that role for most of the game yesterday so we might keep him in that position? Saw lots of the ball and affected things more I thought than when he plays on the left.Nice ‘problem’ to have mind the kid is outstanding.T.Clarke was decent as well considering he’s been out so long, would personally favour Grant playing there if available.Maybe start Thomas next game in place of Nicholson who seems off the pace a bit to me.

About as tough a run in as it can get. If we finish top 3 then it's definitely deserved.
Think top 3 will be filled by FGR, Exeter and Port Vale personally.

Personally for me the only two that 'could' be changed from the starting 11 yesterday would be Anderton in for T Clarke and Thomas for Nicholson. Who would JB leave out for Evans? Tranmere will be missing their regular LB (suspended) and H Anderson with his pace and energy has to be left there IMO to give the width we need down the flank. Nicholson is slightly 'undercooked' at the moment - not firing on all cylinders so bringing Thomas in is possibly the only real change needed.
