I think probably given the games in hand autos are a stretch (I've not given up yet). The next four games are tough to say the least. Here's my view
Tranmere - given 2 players will be missing due to suspension, a real opportunity and a must win. We shouldn't be afraid of them - 3 points
Salford - a team on a good run, but so are we and we owe them for earlier this season - 3 points
Port Vale - flying at present and I think the team to likely take the final auto space - 1 point
FGR - local derby and a chance for them to seal the title - 0 points
Rochdale - no going anywhere 3 points
Scunthorpe - hopefully a D&R game with them already down - 3 points
13 points, total 79 .. who knows

Has Oldham taught you nothing young Jedi?
Any team can beat any other on the day.
Aside from this, I think your predictions are sound ones based on current form. Key is will we score enough goals. We dominate a lot of play but need a lot of chances to score.
Leon Clarke getting fit could help that, he’s the best we have in that position, even at his age.
Given he thought his career was over but he worked hard to recover and get fit, I’d love a fairy tale ending to his career, by coming into some good form to get us in the autos.

It's so tight at the moment, for me not losing at both Tranmere and Port Vale could make all the difference, although I'm expecting us to lose at PV and have to settle for the play offs.

We won’t lose at home to FGR. Away to vale probably tho. But it’s the sticky end, anything can happen!

If we play like we did today over the next four very tough games then I think we’ll win promotion. On paper It’s four very tough followed by two easier but you never know it doesn’t always work out like that. If we can get 8-12 points out of the next four then I’ll fancy is to pick up 6 points from the last two “easier” games and we’ll win automatic promotion. It’s so close that we could conceivably play well in the last 6 games pick up decent points / not great - and not even make the play offs.

5 points separating 9 clubs from 3rd to 11th. Like I said at the time People saying last week after losing to Carlisle that autos were now beyond our reach are living in cloud cuckoo land. We could still finish 2nd or mid table.

Rovers are of course hoping Mansfield lose their games in hand. I think FGR will win Tuesday. FGR and PV are the testing games for the Gas! UTG.

We almost want Scunthorpe to still be fighting for survival when we play them, although looking at the gap there’s zero chance of it happening!! Relegated teams quite often finish on a high as the pressure is off!

I'm starting to get more confident, I think port vale away we will maybe draw, but quietly confident on the others.
Be nice to get Evo and Anderson back, The Gas are coming!

As long as our two centre backs stay fit I’m confident we’ll get the job done .

Agreed, we can forget about Exeter. They are verryyy consistent. Need them to do us some favours by beating some of the other sides around us. Think they’re playing Northampton and Vale still?

If we finish in the playoffs, I personally hope Exeter and Vale get 2nd and third as I'd fancy us against all the others in the playoffs.

Relegated teams quite often finish on a high as the pressure is off! Scunthorpe are having a season like we had last season, I can't imagine they'll put up much of a fight. The next 3 games are massive though as we could just as easily lose any of them as win them. Tranmere, most likely last chance saloon form them, so I'd imagine they'll throw everything at us next week. I'm not really sure losing a left back (EA's opponent!) and a right winger will be that big a lose, even if it should weaken them slightly. Salford, the team running into team in the top 8, big spenders and the real dark horses for promotion Port Vale, similar form to us and must be given a boost by DC's return.

We need one or two teams to have a collapse in form, PV seem to have a tough run in and Mansfield still have a lot of fixtures to play. I hoped Exeter would run if steam when they lost their midfielders but still seem to be winning games. Personally I feel we'll finish just outside the top 3 but I'd we can keep the form going and not lose any vital players should make it to Wembley, then it's a bit of a lottery.
