Amazing isn't it as it is a price freeze i dont get what the problem is. Also the not being honest about it is laughable it crystal clear that its the same price as last year's,the early bird was a thank you for your support from the club after the year we had just been through. It's an unbelievable gesture for them not to go up as everything else in life has risen sharply.
I don't know what you think a price freeze is but I think it's where you would expect to pay the same price as last season. I don't think that's crystal clear but you are entitled to your opinion. My problem isn't the cost going up, it's the lie of the price freeze.
What lie please tell me. The £285 was a special price to say thank you to the people who bought season tickets the year before but couldn't attend. This year price is what alot of people paid so it's a freeze.

Short memories from some? We were offered £50 to use as we wish last season, I chose to take it off my season ticket personally. £13 a game is still great value, no issue here.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a like for like comparison rather than comparing the early bird price to the late bird price. IMO it’s cynical marketing to call it a freeze. Im not upset about it - they could have charged an extra £100 and I’d happily pay the extra - just calling it out for what it is. Its not a late bird price it was a thank you gesture that i dont think was offered to non season ticket holders.

Hi Bridgewater gas. The article says 2022/23 season tickets at 2021/22 renewal price. My renewal price was £285. So that's not true. Again as I've said not a problem if you are raising the price just be honest.

I dont have a problem with the price, bit it Doesnt take much to be clear
Or proof check the graphic you use
West Terrace appears to be cheaper according to some
Might be nit picking, but it's the sort of thing you would question any other business on

Wasn't that £50 a thank you for season ticket holders renewing when the season before they had to watch on iFollow? I have no problem with the price increase BTW. But to give it the big one about freezing ticket prices when it is clear that there is a stepped increase from this "early bird" offer to last year's is quite misleading. The price is not frozen if it has gone up from last year Do we have the same spin doctors as Boris Johnson?! haha My ticket (assuming I renew within the next 2 weeks!!) will be £30 more than I paid last year. I'm just saying.. it had better be for League One football

Never knew why the West Terrace was more expensive anyway

In my case the refund was circa £38 for my OAP ST in the west enclosure. I took the option of donating that refund to the clubs academy. I then purchased a ST in the early bird option period That was £170 and was a higher percentage increase for Concession tickets than normal prices. I was happy to pay this and now I have been offered the same price as last years renewal £170 for the next two weeks. I wonder if people who took the rebate offer and had a reduced price are forgetting this fact as regards the price they are being asked for now?

When we were offered the four options as to what we wanted to do with the 19/20 lost games I chose to have ticket credit to be able to bring my nephews to a few games.
When the platform changed I lost all that credit.
Just saying.
This sort of stuff is fine, because I’m a gashead and I don’t mind putting it towards the club. Any normal business and I’d be all over it.

Hi Bridgewater gas. The article says 2022/23 season tickets at 2021/22 renewal price. My renewal price was £285. So that's not true. Again as I've said not a problem if you are raising the price just be honest. It doesn't say at renewal price. It says it will be at last seasons price for renewals or new buyers. It is as last seasons price, but not at last seasons early bird price. So it is, as it says in the article. It does not mention the price anyone paid last season.

Season ticket renewal prices have now been removed from the article on the Rovers website.

Maybe there is a slight confusion but the club is trying to target NEW season ticket holders. A new S.T holder paid £315 in North / East terrace in 2020 . A new S.T holder in 2021 will pay the same . So it is a prize freeze .
In the pass the club offered good perks to existing S.T holders who benefited . In general I get NO reductions for my long service to utility or broadband services but new customers seem to get attractive offers.
The club could of explained this better to existing S.T holders but the freeze is to attract newbies . Unless i read this wrong!.

Again as I've said not a problem if you are raising the price just be honest. Prices have been frozen at what was the normal 21/22 renewal price. I can't believe that people expected the price to go down to last year's early bird price - if they did that every season, you'd be paying the same price year upon year if you did an early bird renewal.

It could of been worded better & said frozen at 21/22 season prices ( not 21/22 earlybird prices), but when you consider there’s a chance we could be playing in league 1 next season a £30 price rise ( £1.30 a match ) in my eyes isn’t too extortionate.

It does not mention freezing them to last seasons early bird prices. It does not mention people paying the same as last season.

Right have done some research. West enclosure. 21/22 Oap/under 21 early bird £170. Then £190 after that period. My renewel for 22/23 for the two weeks from tomorrow is £170, last seasons early bird price was £170! So my earlybird offer for this coming season is the same as last.
