If it’s too inconvenient on this occasion, rock up and show support on a Sunday and watch them at their regular ground for the next home league or cup fixture? Easy. Think their seasons have now finished? But, having watched a few Gas Girls games at Lockleaze, whilst the standard isn’t the same as the mens team they do play great entertaining football and it is a good watch (as well as the women generally just standing up to and riding hard tackles without moaning and less ‘feigning or acting’ on show. Forest Green will be a tough game for them as FGR are from the division we’ve just been promoted in to. Spot on with the standard/entertainment comment. Tactically they are bang on. Full backs that combine with the wingers. Central midfielders that get stuck in and look for an outlet. Decent service at corners, OK the odd one goes out but generally speaking they are right on top of the goalie. Perhaps my reaction to the 6:45 ko is just my annoyance at not having time to see them at the mem.

I'll be there. Travelling from Telford for both games. How often do we cheer on Gas league champions?

The FanZone will be open again with entertainment from 5 until just before the Gas Girls kick off, so fans can stay after the FGR game, get a drink, something to eat and hopefully celebrate and then support the girls.
