Big crowd and a super draw, with previously unclaimed winnings put back in the pot.
Bring your cash and let's make it the best 50/50 prize of the season.
All profits go to supporting Rovers youth.

7 away from jackpot. Been 5 and 4 away this season. Odds of winning + years of playing + tickets bought = should a won 3 years ago.
I know we’re still raising the youth, but did we pay for the roof?

Yes. I sometimes doubt if there would be a roof on the Blackthorn/Thatcher's end now if wasn't for the SC representative making the suggestion of a 50/50 and the SC and the volunteers and the fans putting their money into the draw. I think the 50/50 fund has also helped with other stadium improvements (sic), medical equipment, frost covers etc as well as helping fund the youth and development squads and the Gas Girls. Well done to all and TG for admitting he was wrong to stop it earlier on the season. Personally I think the cashless stadium idea will have a dramatic fall in both 50/50 and programmes. It will definitely take longer for the volunteers to set a machine for each £1 payment, rather than just paying over a quid and what happens when the internet connection goes down? Surely there must be some scope to pay cash - maybe the SC shop? I bet there are a few older fans that only pay with cash for all their shopping ie have passbook accounts without cards, like there are fans without mobiles or PCs. Pity the club seem to totally disregard them.

Could a 50/50 direct debit scheme be set up ? Loads who buy occasionally would probably set up a pound or two a game.

It may not be a prize as high as £1,700, but there is an on line 50/50 for today's match. See the SC website for details.
You help Rover youth and could win a decent amount to help pay for the end of season celebration in the clubhouse bars!
