Watching the various clips doing the rounds of the highlights from yesterday, it was great to see the loanees right in the thick of the celebrations. I can’t remember a season where we have recruited players on loan so successfully. Well done to the recruitment team.

And the other side of this is that they are gaining from playing in pressure games rather than trotting around in low key meaningless L1 or Championship fixtures. And they probably wouldn't have got the game time elsewhere.
