There is no doubt that we looked a different class to PV. It was a confident, mature performance. This team will not fear FGR. They will relish the opportunity to put one over on 'the best team in League 2'. Loft's finish had real quality. His confidence has had a massive boost. It is almost certain that he will play a part tomorrow. It's not a bad time for a young centre forward to hit form. Ryan Loft - the story of your 2021/22 season isn't written yet. "Success comes to those that dare to dream big." UTG.

Out of interest how many tickets have Forest Green got for tomorrow 777 I thought that 777 was the initial allocation and a further 200 tickets were sent, which would just bring them up to the 10% of capacity required by EFL regs.

They had three allocations according to info on their forum. The final one making a total of 777.

Would love us to get an early goal tomorrow to settle the nerves and also I then think the atmosphere will be incredible which could push the lads onto more . Just gotta a feeling the first goal tomorrow is going to be all important.

FGR kicking off about ticket allocation?
Anyone here that can give me an update regarding the situation?
They appear to believe we have broken some rules (alledgedley)?

The confidence in the dressing room has now reached gaschat. Many on here, rightly so, have confidence in the professionalism of this team. The day before matches always exciting these days. Can’t wait for this one. A 2-0 victory will send us home happy.

Yes, just been on their forum where there CEO has entered the debate. What was the reduced capacity we were supposed to now have, it was posted a few weeks ago on here? It would then be an easy calculation to see if the 777 tickets that have had are 10% of that. Had to laugh that the Salford fans were moaning about the cramped space they had, even though they all had seats. What did they expect, to be allowed to spread out at their leisure in the South stand. FGR also complaining that they gave us 1200 tickets for th home fixture against us and that was above 10% of their capacity. They omit to say that was because they can't fill the ground.

Newport are playing Colchester tonight, currently 0-0 after 20 minutes.
The temptation is to root for Colchester but Newport still have to play Port Vale and it's better for us if they have something to play for, as in a play-off chance. So I'm hoping for a Draw or even a Newport win. Any thoughts?

So I'm hoping for a Draw or even a Newport win. Any thoughts? I get that logic of wanting Newport to have something to play for. I think there’s zero chance of them catching us as I think they can only get 75 points and I’m confident we can manage 3 points from the last 3 games to get to at least 76 (would worry if not!).

Colchester equalise with another ex-Gas....Akinde pen.
...it wasn't a penalty, just tripped off the tongue.
