See not one Rovers player made the team of the season. Surprised Taylor didn't make it in.

To have Clarke from Tranmere and Turnbull from Salford instead of Taylor is a joke.

It is an award for player(s) of the season.
If it was for the best since January we would no doubt have some players mentioned.

Taylor was one of three nominations from memory for young player, so the boy did well!

I suppose that the difference between impartial judges and bias.
All talk about Tranmere had been their rock solid defence, so they must be pretty good.

If thereβs a club in league 2 with a better keeper than Belshaw then Iβd like to see that. Best keeper weβve had since Nigel Martyn.

I wonder how long ago the actual vote was held. May have a bearing?

I wonder how long ago the actual vote was held. May have a bearing? The vote was from the start of the season up until a couple of weeks ago and all managers in league two voted for players from the teams they had faced this season. Young Taylor was nominated as young player of the season from all positions and that's an honour in itself. Perfectly understandable to me that there were two other centrebacks who were chosen for the actual team who were considered better than him.
