Right, 2 to go you never know!!!
I'm taking the credit for the PV win and hopefully I can bring another three points (and yes for all those doubters the author of the matchday thread have a direct bearing on the results 😉)
6 points is the minimum we want if we are to be considered for autos and we start this journey at the Crown Oil Arena.
Traditionally we never do well against the Dale, but I'm going with my very positive mindset and feel we are going to be going all out to win and hopefully blow them off the park.
We still have to be careful as if results conspire against us the play offs could be under threat, but I firmly believe we win then we go into the autos due to the games on Monday. Then the pressure will be greater than those brussel sprouts in the pressure cooker for a Sunday lunch!!!
Team wise, I feel we have to get at them from the first minute and have to use the pace we have in our team to run them ragged. Also as Grant should be back in contention, I think the team should be
Belly Hoole Taylor Connelly Grant Coutts Finley Billy Thomas Evans Collins
Finley and Evans need better games, but I think it's time to reward Thomas with a start and then use Anderson from the bench.
Simply put WIN IS THE ONLY OPTION
COME ON YOU ROVERS COME ON YOU BLUES IT IS OUR TIME WE CAN DO THIS!!!

How many times have we said 'this is a must win game' recently? BUT this really, really is,! if we are to achieve what we all want. We have been on one hell of a good run which would normally have put us in a very strong position but teams around us have refused to give up and are fighting just as hard as us, very unsporting of them IMHO but there we are, JB and squad seem very determined not to let it slip now and i reckon a brilliant Gas following will roar us to 3 points and further enhance the reputation of 'the Goose' good luck every one, up the Rovers!

Think we'll draw today 😔 Not confident at all I felt exactly the same before Port Vale, hopefully we'll get the same outcome. If we can win today Northampton v Exeter is the only result we really need to worry about, we could conceivably be in the top 3 tonight and the pressure really would be on Vale & Mansfield come Monday. I'd like to see Thomas start but JB seems quite settled on his preferred team so I think we'll see the Forest Green line up with possibly Grant replacing Anderton, nice problems to have though.

The ones to watch:
Rochdale V The Gas Northampton Town V Exeter City Port Valve V Newport County (Monday) Salford City V Mansfield Town (Monday) Sutton United V Bradford City Swindon Town V Barrow
Fair play to Swindon pulling themselves back into contention is only good for us, Exeter a real chance of going up as Champions so hopefully they knock Northampton down a few places come 5pm today, and as we know they play Port Vale next Saturday. It's going to be squeaky bum time for all of us in the top 7 and a really exciting run in, Swindon, Salford and Tranmere will ertainly be hoping for some slip ups to take advantage of.
What a time to be Gas Head, come on you Blues!!

Counting down the hours to kick off. I think we will win. Firstly early 50% of the crowd will be Gasheads making it feel like a home game and secondly the inclusion of Grant (Joey indicated in his pre match interview he is match fit) COYB Win and next Saturday will be an electric atmosphere at the Mem

Come on Gas, we and the team can do it today. The number of our supporters will make it feel more like a home game and we must and will win. One of the key things will be Finley avoiding another yellow - he must do whatever he did to avoid his 10th for ~7 games up to that deadline. He's on 13 yellows now I think so he has to do the same for the next two, or five games if we're in the playoffs to avoid reaching 15 and a three game ban.

I think I'd still start with Anderson, and depending what the result is I would bring Thomas on at halt time.
Safe Travels gasheads.

Funny, I don't see this as squeeky bum time, more as a bonus if we get anything at all this season.
Remember Orient at home for example, or how we failed to beat poor sides even when we had more players on a few occasions.
Things certainly have turned around big time since Kevin Bond joined. (Best signing of the season?). His impact is not to be underated.

I am really nervous now, just hope we play as good as we know we can, these players though are playing for Joey and they want this as much as we do,

It really is in Cobblers hands to lose today
If they do we must win gotca feeling both games will end up as goal less draws
Need to attack Dale and improve pur poor goals scored record.

Just wondering if the yellow card issued would roll over into the play offs, or whether after 46 games things reset. Would be awful to see him get a 15th yellow in a seminal and miss Wembley (Gaza’s style).

Difficult couple of games ahead, and the chasing pack are all on good form. We've come a cropper against teams who 'have nothing to play for' all too often in the past. Will be a big struggle to get promotion for us. In effect, the season starts today. UTG
