If we go to Wembley, will SC members get cheaper coach tickets? Whenever the Supporters Club arrange coaches to away fixtures, there is always a discounted price for Supporters Club members. Steve Lamble BRSC

I remember using SC membership a lot in the past for some of the big away games when I wasn’t a season ticket holder.
Mind you if we end up playing Sutton in the play offs you can forget getting a ticket for the away leg unless you are a season ticket holder and even then, many will miss out.

It’s not really new now. It’s just Wembley. Or Wembly as it was called in the Twerton days Been there, done that - got the T-shirt! Boom, boom, as Basil Brush would say.

Well the whole point is so that the SC can share with the club peoples details so they can get priority access to tickets. Why would the club ask for that? They can’t do it anyway that’s the whole point? And even if they could ST holders have priority over all the other priorities so there’s no point in doing it anyway!

The point is that if we are in the play offs the home leg will be a sell out. By having a priority the ST rightly get first dibs, so the remaining 5,500 or so tickets can be shared between members of the SC, Sharescheme, Helpline, YP, Presidents club, Club members first etc, so the loyal fans, who have paid their membership for years, have a chance of getting a ticket, rather than have a complete free for all, with some Johnny come latety on ticket master.

Exactly. But the SC need permission to be able to share the details with the club to arrange for and contact supporters who have the right to that priority because they’re legally separate entities. So under data protection law they need permission for that data sharing. MM was wondering why the club hadn’t contacted ST holders - they don’t need to they already have the permission to provide said priority and it ranks higher than ST priority anyway. So there’s no point encouraging supporters who are ST holders AND SC members to sort it out either.

With the number of potential all ticket matches next season, if you can't afford a season ticket, it may be worthwhile looking at joining one of the support groups that offer some ticket priority.
