There’s been an email today from the SC about sharing details with the club to allow them to grant priority access to any playoff fixtures should it be necessary.
If anyone is part of the SC but not an ST or club member it would be worth checking your emails to make sure you’ve received it ok and have done all the steps necessary.
(Just in case we don’t go up automatically 😉)

good to hear but i have only ever received the newsletter from the supporters club - and nothing else before or since . i have just checked my inboxes, junk etc - nothing. its a shame really because i joined to become more actively involved now that i am retired but have absolutely no idea how to do so Might be worth dropping them an email if you haven’t received it. That or they may have the right permissions from when you signed up anyway Email body: Dear G&E All current Bristol Rovers Supporters Club members enjoy priority on all ticket matches. As a member, you have the chance to buy tickets to matches before the tickets go on general sale. But, the football club need to be able to identify our members, so we need to share your information with them. This is particularly important, at the moment, with the possibility of play-off matches which are likely to be all-ticket matches. Unfortunately, to comply with GDPR/Data Protection, we cannot share your information with the Football Club unless you grant us permission to do so. In order for you to give us permission to share your information with the football club please complete the process at the bottom of this email. There is a deadline for granting your permission If you wish to grant us permission to share your data, you will need to make the required changes to your account before midday this coming Friday 6th May 2022. This is required in order for you to reap the benefit of priority ticket allocation for any play-off matches this season. If you have not granted permission for us to share your data with the football club by the deadline above you may not be included in the invitation to priority access. What if I do not want my personal data shared with the football club? If you do not wish us to share your information with the football club then no action is required. Simply leave your membership profile as it is, but, please be reminded that not granting permission for us to share your data means you will not be allocated priority access to match tickets. If you change your mind in the future you can update your account at any time but you have to make the change by midday on Friday 6th May 2022 to be eligible for this season's matches. How do I update my profile to grant permission to share my data? Login to your Supporters club account via the 'Grant your permission now' button at the bottom of this email... Once logged in, click the 'My Profile' button within your dashboard... From within your 'My Profile' page you can select to grant permission for your data to be shared with the football club and also select your desire to receive the members' e-newsletter when it's published. To grant permission, simply tick each box, or untick each box to revoke/refuse permission. ( Example: the screenshot below is granting permission to both data sharing and to receive the members' e-newsletter ). When you are happy with your selection, click the 'Save' button on your profile page. You can return at any time to change your options. Thank you for your continued support of our Supporters club. Hi All,
I just thought it worthwhile to come in and make a few comments so that you understand the background to this and so that BRSC members understand the importance of updating their "online membership profiles". However, before I do that, I would like to thank Samantha Parsons, who has done an amazing amount of work on this for the potential benefit of all BRSC members.
The general background to this is that members of the BRSC enjoy priority in the purchase of matchday tickets for "all ticket" games. In the event that we do not gain automatic promotion, we are now guaranteed a play off place and it is highly likely that any play off matches will be all-ticket.
In the old days ticket sales would have been available from the club shop and the priority purchases would simply be ensured if you could present your BRSC Membership Card at the shop. In the modern era of electronic ticket sales, it is impossible to verify your BRSC Membership unless we transfer your membership data to the Football Club. However, Data Protection legislation does not allow us to transfer your data to the Football Club unless you specifically authorise us to do so.
Even if you are a BRSC Member and have not received an e-mail, you can go into your online BRSC membership Account and provide that authorisation and we would urge you to do so before this Friday if you want to ensure your priority for "All Ticket" matches.

How many match tickets will each member be allocated? Only one per member unfortunately. On a side note, we have been contacted by some members who are worried that the e-mail might be a Scam. I can confirm that the e-mail was issued by the BRSC and that the content is "real". Steve Lamble BRSC

Anyone know what the crack is with Helpline membership now? It was always historically a Priority 1 scheme similar to ST holders. I have heard a rumour that with the new club membership schemes running Helpline has been relegated to P2. Anyone got any definitive details on this? I haven't been informed by the Helpline organisers that my membership no longer has the same perks so it would be nice to know one way or the other...

It's as easy as that. I think they are running a quiz tomorrow at the Mem, so you can support that and have a chat then. I believe some of the Gas Girls will be attending.

Priority ticket for play offs and Wembley how many coaches have been reserved for the 40000 new fans wanting a day out at the new Wembley. Don't knock them. They are the occasional visitors to the Mem, the people who follow but don't attend, the potential regular attendees next season, and a lot of new and young fans who might just get hooked for life. Every club in the lower leagues has a bit of a turnout for Wembley playoffs. I think it's fantastic that we can get anywhere near 25,000-35,000 fans up the M4 for a big day out. Very few clubs in L2 and not many in L1 could manage that.
