"home team top of the form table" "away team already relegated in April"
I can see it being similar this Saturday.
"magic feet from Billy in the box" "chance after chance" "Bristol Rovers promoted"

Let’s hope we’re wearing our shooting boots this time….. my god the guilt edged misses in that game still make me wince!

Let’s hope we’re wearing our shooting boots this time….. my god the guilt edged misses in that game still make me wince! I never did buy into the ‘Mark Cousins became prime Buffon’ angle. Gaffney missed a headed sitter and everything we hit was directly at him😂 Another 30 shots on goal this Saturday and find the corners this time! Perfect

It would have made life much more comfortable if we could take one of our many chances earlier in that game but in hindsight, would anyone actually change the way we did it? I’m not sure it’s gets much sweeter than a fan favourite scoring a stoppage time winner to seal promotion. Made it so so special and whilst any promotion would have been amazing, that was an incredible “I was there” moment.

For various reasons i wasnt at this game (nor many in the years around this). Mainly kids/footy/family etc, so would LOVE a chance to repeat that day and be there! Need to enjoy the day, whatever the outcome. We would all have taken play offs back in January!

If we go up on Saturday, I've told my son that he has to go on the pitch and carry Alex Rodman around on his shoulders - mustn't drop him though, he's fragile!

So, going with gut and a cobblers win (massive favourites), I'm predicting the final positions below. Fortunately tho games don't always go as expected and Barrow are more than capable of helping us out! But will take Sutton home and away if it is the play offs.
1. Exeter 87 +27 2. FGR 83 +30 3. Nton 80 +21 -------------- 4. GAS 80 +18 5. Mansfield 79 +16 6. Swindle 77 +22 7. Sutton 76 +15 --------------- 8. Vale 75 +18 (sorry DC) 9. Salford 73 +17 10. Tranmere 73 +12

Ideally if we could wait until the other games are actually finished first this time... Standing on the terrace watching our fans celebrate on the pitch while Accrington game was still going on elsewhere was excruciating!! What a release when the final score there was anncounced though!
