This team have confidence, belief and hope. We know on our day we at some point will score many with this team. This Saturday could be the time. When pressure is on this team have delivered. Who knows ?
Or just maybe Northampton and others fall short - we win or draw and that’s enough to be automatically promoted.
This forum has been excitable and energised by our performances since turn of New Year. Could it be an unbelievable finish at the mem?
Not a prediction but do you believe by end of games this week we will be automatically promoted in some way.
Be interesting to see our levels of confidence in our team.

I’m going to nail my colours to a mast and say by goal difference.

This team will give it a good go for sure. We have had many moments this year when at the last few minutes we have made what seemed impossible happen. I’m confident and hopeful. Football is full of hope, it’s what has made this season so special. I’m also nailing my colours to the mast. Bring it on.

I think we'll win on Saturday. But so will Northampton and I can't see us winning by Northampton's margin+5 (that is a ludicrous long shot - even if Northampton only win by 1 goal)

Northampton to draw, Rovers 3-0

Wins by 6, 7 or 8 seldom happen in football and I don't think it's ever been achieved when a team HAD to achieve that margin to win promotion, make the play-offs or avoid relegation etc.
I think we'll win 4-1 but Northampton will win 2-1 and we'll have to settle for the play-offs.

Now that Fulham are promoted, do you think the league would allow us to borrow Mitrovic just for Saturday?
Otherwise 2 or 3 nil to the Gas and hope that Northampton slip up.

Nils Bohr (the Swedish Nobel winning scientist) apparently said "Predictions are very difficult, especially when they involve the future). One thing is certain, there will be many twists and turns on Saturday. One would have thought that the most likely outcome would be that both Gas & Cobblers win & Cobblers get 3rd spot. However, in this crazy season, the most likely thing seldom seems to happen. I am going for Cobblers draw & Gas win

Comfortable rovers win, Northampton will struggle and end up drawing with Barrow.

What about Wycombe having to win 7 - 0 at Torquay to stay up?
Rare yes, impossible no.

The nearest we got to beating anyone by a huge margin in the conference season, before the final day 7-0 battering of Alfreton, was 4 against Macclesfield at home in December.
Just saying.

Knowing our luck we’ll score 7 but Northampton will win 4-0.

Planning to score a hateful is a completely different thing to doing it without planning it. Having said that, Scunthorpe are planning to play a lot of youngsters on Saturday, so that'll go one of 2 ways... 😬
