Unreal player. My heart says he'll want to stay and Newcastle won't mind him continuing his development with us in L1 but head says some promotion-aspiring Championship team a la Preston, Millwall et al will lure him there. Game-changing signing and promotion-winning difference maker nonetheless!

Where would we be without him?....not in league one.
The only sad part of winning promotion today is that we'll never see him play for us again. Outstanding talent and good luck to him for the future.

First-class attitude and unreal talent.
I think he really enjoyed his time at Rovers and although the chances of him coming back on even a short-term loan next season are VERY slim, he would no doubt recommend us to his teammates in the Newcastle academy.
Thanks for everything Billy, Gasheads will be talking about your time at Rovers for years to come.
