Not only saying the delay because of the pitch invasion gave us an advantage but accusing us of match fixing. ie.winning 7_0 is very rare, so it had to be fixed. A bunch of very sad people, although having to live in Northampton, it's understandable.

One of the many sweetest things how this has panned out is that those lot love to sing 3-1 and you f**ked it up about the play offs in 98 at us. They sung it at us this season up there.
Back at you 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lol. Would the adult team have been any better?
I think the problem for Scunny was their players were so bad anyway it was worth swapping them out for kids.
We’ve suggested it on relegations before. Perhaps it’s not such a good idea as it seems.

Scunthorpe played a similar team the week before and drew , so all this playing youth and fixing is total crap. Also i think if there hadn't been a pitch invasion we would have scored more goals we were so on top got three in the last 10 mins against Rochdale.

They've been in the autos for much of the term and we sneak in on the last day, it's all over at the end of 46 games, not before. Tough luck NTFC fans, but ffs lay off of the sour grapes - we out scored you over the season.

So when Northampton played Scunny in the scunny team that faced the gas were
Delaney, Grant, Feeney, Rowe and Nuttall.
Players in the squad Northampton faced that were unused subs;
Watson (GK), Bunn,
Players injured against Northampton but played against the Gas:
Bestin
So it looks like that they used 6 regular first teamers and the rest were squad/youth. So whilst it was slightly weakened it was almost the same position we were in last year when we had to play Ward, Martinez, Hargreaves etc and got relegated as a result.
Nothing to see but sour grapes here.

Having seen extended highlights of the barrow game...i can safely say that Scunthorpe played better than Barrow did.
I really think that Rovers would have steamrollered most league 2 clubs yesterday.
Cobblers fans should look at the numbers of shots and possesion rovers have had in their last 10 games and compare to their team.
It will show that the scunthorpe game produced the numbers of shots and possession that Rovers should achieve against the bottom club.
Its a hard pill for them to swallow im sure . They could consider if they had kept a clean sheet at Barrow they would be up. Or Had they not lost home and away to Rovers things would have been different.

Any idiot who thinks there’s sculduggery involved obviously didn’t watch the game. From being 3-1 down the week before and then going into yesterday’s game needing 5+ goals, what our Rovers did was indeed unbelievable, impossible to believe. Nonetheless it did happen and aren’t we the dogs bollocks my fellow Gas ‘eads? Fantastic, unbelievable, glorious etc. etc. it’s all of those things and this moment in time belongs to us. So proud to be a Bristol Rovers fan ‘cos these are the occasions that really do touch our lives and it’s magical. Don’t you feel a little bit special today ladies and gentlemen? ‘Course you do and so you should. Great innit? UTG!

The most ironic bit about the match being fixed is that 7-0 was only good enough provided the score at Barrow didn't change in the second half.
So, for it to be a true fix, Northampton and Barrow had to promise not to score again and allow us to put 5 more past Scunthorpe without them replying.
All in all, complete cobblers.
