And to think there is still some clamouring for Screen Soccer!
Never would anything like this be produced.

To think some. No hang on one person was criticising them for their forest green tweet a few weeks back. Just like everything about this club since Barton arrived the media team are brilliant. So much more professional than we’ve been used to. I loving this new rovers. Long may it continue. Barton was right. We’ve Accepted mediocrity for far too long. The gas are coming.

Yeah but can they take the "highlights" of Buckle's Rovers and make a great video?
Like someone said, they have a great product to work with.
As a Luddite I really don't know, but apart from the feel good factor of watching, does the club financially benefit?
I remember being told that in the early days of websites the more "hits" the site had, the more it received in advertising revenue which makes sense.
I just don't know how podcasts etc get any money.

I would say that it does pay. It sells the club in a professional way.
We only have to look at the gates and sell outs this season. Then there's the fan park and merch store.
The media team is crucial, it sells tickets and fans, hopefully lots of new fans too, spend more money at the stadium. All about increasing revenue streams.
In this day and age of IT and social media, you have to embrace it and we are big time!

For most under-twenty year old fans, if they cannot view it on Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube it did not happen. It was about time our club was brought into the real world.

Just to add the HD is sharper still on the club FB and Twitter account because YouTube compresses the file upload
The media team are clearly using some pretty decent kit, cameras, mics, editing software etc

They were doing an excellent job, how they managed to keep their concentration, and Tweet regular updates during that madness was amazing. The whole media output this season has been excellent, and it's good to see that the club is now abreast of the changing times, rather than trying to play catch up.

In terms of Social media reach, by chance I noticed on Friday morning the clubs number of ‘followers’ on Twitter was 99.3k and today it stands at 99.9k.
Decent weekend for acquiring a lot more attention/new fans from near and far.
