I've got a terrace season ticket and take my grandson on a game by game basis, not night games, and games when he's not available, holiday etc, so about 10 matches. Looking at season ticket sold diagram I would guess about 30 to 40% of terrace places have already gone. Does the club have limit so allowing pay on the day.

Last I saw we’d sold 4,000 odd so guessing we could sell at least another 2,000 …. Leaving approx 2,000 for pay on the day home fans.

Reading TG’s notes from the FGR programme, the club are looking at ways to increase the capacity for next season. The removal of the family stand even though the club lose a couple of hundred seats they gain many more standing terrace places in that area, also he mentions an improvement at the front of the thatchers end to allow young supporters to stand there again. Maybe now we reached league 1 there might be a few more things they might be able to implement to increase capacity but i assume after given the clubs with large away followings the whole of the south stand there should be approximately 10000 places for home fans.

Given that the attendance on Saturday was only 9,790 TG is going have his work cut out increasing the home end capacity by approximately 1,000?

Surely the South stand could be extended and a few more rows added at the back ? We need to explore every avenue to see how we can increase the capacity . Looking forward to this summer , what ideas Gorringe & co come up with and seeing which players we sign. UTG

The South stand used to run the extent of the pitch for a while. It can't now, because the screen is in the way, but it did, so I don't understand the often stated reason that there are underground electrical installations etc stopping that. I'm not suggesting the club is fibbing, and it's irrelevant with the screen in the way.
I suppose it could be moved but no idea where it could go.

I'd love it if they could make that end the same as the Thatchers end, get rid of the tent and put terracing and a roof on it surely the screen could go above

The reason the South Stand was installed in the first place was to meet that standard. When the South Stand was extended it was financed by the Rugby Club to increase revenue by providing more seats and the stadium capacity was not increased as the authorities wouldn't permit an increase. To increase the stadium capacity it would require more toilets, turnstiles and exits. Perhaps now that the club appears to have some funds that might be possible. It would require planning permission though.
