That’s one less relegation place to worry about next season then. 😂

Made me wonder how many teams higher up the leagues would seriously consider JB as an option regardless of how well he performs with us

Do well at a small club and you get better job offers. That's how it works. Stale Mince disappointed but not really a surprise. Needs to hit the ground running or he'll be gone in weeks. Reckon they looked at early or whole season at FGR as if they looked at recent form its tailed off significantly.

Nobody lasts long at Vicarage Road these days. Short term move for him. With parachutes they are expected to come straight back up. No pressure then.

To be honest, I know FGR had promotion sewn up ages ago but he did come across like he couldnt be arsed towards the end.

Mmm bit of a gamble for both parties though financially RE can't lose. His reputation could suffer though , It's commendable that Watford are giving a young British manager a chance, can't imagine there fans are that thrilled though. Sounds as though its all been a bit underhand ,but that's football for you. Any one worried that someone else will take a gamble on JB?

Crazy decision by Edwards to go to a Mad House like Watford ....fully expect him to be looking for a new job just in time for the pre christmas round of manager sackings in the EFL ...
Won't be surprised to see that team break up now .... there are some very decent players that might just be looking to move now - i think HTV news said there are a fair few out of contract as well.

I think JB would need to perform x2 as well as other managers before he's approached by bigger clubs. So personally not worried
