Moronic statement and he's just given Alex Neil his team talk. Sunderland are a massive club and one associated with the PL, not L1 or even the Championship, so to basically call them "that team from Netflix" is ridiculous.

I hope Sunderland batter them. Not many teams I despise more than Wycombe.

Personally I would lean towards preferring Wycombe going up to the Championship.. selfishly because Sunderland(a) and a weekend in Newcastle is amazing. But Sunderland going up would probably make the Championship a bit more competitive (WW would almost certainly end up in a relegation place that we would prefer another team to take up...) .. and also, if we have promotion ambitions ourselves, it would pay to keep the big clubs out of our league where possible
