After Sunday's game away at Nuneaton we've got a fortnight to the next game.
Time to give the players some time off? Maybe they can fly to warmer parts for a few days?

Or the club could pay for a few days away in Spain or Portugal?
Team spirit is at an all time high this season. Perhaps more bonding time would be what the doctor ordered.

Let them have a little break, but stress the importance of the next 5 months. They could be the most important 5 months of the club's history.

Now listen up, the players and manager have excelled with four goals and a clean sheet. the supporters also have to be commended for yesterday.
I'm very impressed and satisfied, you're all going to get a reward....a bit of contentment and throw yourselves in a hot drink and maybe a few treats to eat.
But, there's no time for celebrating, you all need to concentrate on what you've got right, work on anything you could do better and look at how you can improve. The job is not done, so let's forget about relaxing and bloody holidays. There's work to be done and the next task is Torquay, i want to see another convincing victory and no let up, you don't drop your bloody hands with 4 bleedin furlongs to go , waving to the sodding crowd. the time for time off is when promotion is in the bag....
..now go on home, i'll see you at the next task.

Perhaps you could explain where the £10K is going to come form to pay for that? Perhaps a week in W-S-M is more within our budget bearing in mind we couldn't even afford overnighters at the start of the season.

Maybe they can fly to warmer parts for a few days? work them harder because there's nothing competitive? Maybe a mini-pre-season mid-season? If the players want to fund this abroad, fine by me...

A mid-season team bonding trip to sunnier climes is absolute pie in the sky stuff! Maybe if we were owned by a multi-billionaire or something, but not when we are in the Conference.
The lads have done superbly well so far this season and the last few performances have been top drawer but they haven't achieved anything yet. Let's keep them grounded and fully concentrated on the job they are so admirably tackling right now.

The 2 week break is the worst possible timing as we will lose our momentum. If they are given a week off with no training they will also lose their sharpness and fitness. On the flip side they will returm refreshed and ready to go again. I suppose it will suit some players more than others. I would imagine the naturally fit players like Sinclair will retain his fitness and sharpness but other maybe not so much.

If I was manager I'd keep them in for training like normal and arrange two friendlies , one for the first choice and one for the fringe players. They'd be friendlies against smaller sides, no doubt lots of them will be having games postponed, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one. I say smaller sides because we've just started scoring more and keeping the team in scoring mood is important if they have got a two week break. As for a holiday no way would I want the players going off to a warm country and then coming back to play on a cold hard muddy pitch.

Footballers get 6-7 weeks off in the summer that's more than most professional people get.

If we beat Torquay and Nuneaton, they will have done really well. Big pat on the back, thanks, maybe a free pint. But it's not job done until May. So let's save the celebrations til then. Momentum is everything in football so anything we can to to keep that please

They'd be better off playing a "testing friendly" on that Saturday.

They'd be better off playing a "testing friendly" on that Saturday. I doubt many teams for a free weekend, perhaps we could offer Barnet a game!!

the last time that a few of the players were given 4 days off was just before Bath - and we all know what happened then

Can't give them holidays because you don't know what the weather will be like on Sunday and if the game is cancelled it will probably be rearranged quickly during our baron two week spell.
