😂 that’s quality from admin , glad he’s signing on again , hopefully stays free of injuries as he’s a top talent who’s already won promotion from league 1 so he knows what the division is all about , literally just renewed my ST so could be a good omen...

Pleased with this. Shown to be a handy addition in the full back position and very decent option left wing. High energy, doesn’t shirk a tackle and has a lovely cross on him.
Now for the others😬

A bit surprised he's bagged a 2 year contract with another year's extension personally I'd given him just another year in order to prove his fitness, as after last season's injury hit season I can't imagine there's a long line of clubs waiting to offer him anything better.

He is a very good player though and I think a two year deal is a fair one. I understand your comments ref the injury hit season , hopefully he was just unlucky, by all accounts he’s fully fit and raring to go and with a full pre season ahead of him things will only get better , hopefully 😉

Pleased he's signed the games he played he looked a very decent player. We have very good options in that position now with him Grant & Anderton. A bonus that they can all play in a variety of positions.

Agreed, but it's one of those that you could argue either way. If he has a lot of injuries, we could be moaning. But if he signed a one year deal, stayed injury free and left on a free in a year's time, we would be moaning then as well! Hopefully he can stay injury free and kick on this season.

Unlucky last season with injuries and suspension. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a regular at LB or LWB come the end of the season. I personally don't think Nick Anderton is good enough if we want to be competitive in L1.

Think he’s decent back up / sub and can cover a couple of positions but agree, don’t expect him to be a regular starter.

I get that but to me 2 years seems about the right amount for a player under the age of 30. Gives you another year if they turn out to be indispensable to the team. However if they are injury hit or lose form, then they’re not stuck with you for ages.

But he's here for 3 years if he decides to accept the extension, just like Jaakola and Rodman will be here next season unless we pay them off even though they've hardly played under JB. According to Wiki TC's managed a total of 24 league games since he moved to England in the summer of 2019, that's an average of just 8 games a season.

You're so right Topper. Same with that Billy Bodin, eh.

You're so right Topper. Same with that Billy Bodin, eh. You only get the chance of a risk paying off, i of you take that risk. It seems we were the last team to get a decent tune out of Bodin but man, wasn’t he just fantastic to watch. You just never knew what was going to happen, same kind of thing but to a lesser extent, with Will Hoskins

Great to see tweets announcing signings of the very young lads. Must be great for them and their Mums and Dad's to see on twitter.

I'm still trying to work out what offering a defender a new contract as got to do with signing strikers in the past, perhaps KP thinks TC is LC!

Surely the extension isn't just the players choice, but reliant upon games played or similar in the previous season
