I keep checking to see what fixed tariffs are available and every few weeks the price goes up 10%. It’s going to be horrific come October when the price cap shifts and sadly I can only see it getting higher the way things are. I don’t want to open a party political can but we really need to start seriously looking at alternatives as a society to fossil fuels and ensuring it’s cost effective for everyone. Not just for the environmental aspect but for national security and financial sustainability too. Careful, you'll get accused of being woke by making progressive points about the future of the planet. If being caring, careful and being concerned about the many and not the few then i am happy to be called woke.

Despite being a self confessed Luddite, the card readers were easy enough to use.
There were only two very short periods when the connection was lost and the biggest machine based problem was when the sun was shining on the screen making it difficult to read.
That said, there were just so many people who were completely unaware that the stadium is now cashless, I had to pay £113 on my card.
Hopefully, now the first game is out of the way more people are aware.
I think the match ticket queuing issue had an effect on the reduced programme and 50/50 sales, so hopefully despite the early kick off, there should be a decent 50/50 prize next home match.
I am not sure if we were allocated more programmes than last season, as towards the run in, we often completely sold out by about 2.15, however there were quite a few programmes left yesterday.
If you want to get you copy of the FGR programme, please see Jamie in the SC shop.
For your info, the Pirate has increased in cost to £3.50, but it is much improved on last seasons effort.
The 50/50 remains at £1 per ticket. Where else can you buy the same product for the same price as about 20 years ago!
Ps, I sold the very first winning 50/50 ticket and believe I also sold the very first £2,000 rollover winner, but I never sold the winning ticket at all last season. Must be due one soon by the law of averages!

Surprised this one hasn't had any more mileage.
Muslims famously using contactless payment for hundreds of years of course.
